I am impressed with Ghana. Too bad they meet a better side and are going home. They played with passion and gave good fight to Brazil. They will unlucky to not socre a goal or 2.

This game proves, yet again, that it is better to be lucky than good.
Ghana played an outstanding game throughout, and Brazil was more like a spectator most of the game, and the end result score line says, Brazil 3 and Ghana 0. About the only thing Ghana needs to work on now is finishing. Brazil missed a couple of sitters at the end, which would have made the score 5-0.

Pathetic Ref's...and the 2nd goal was clearly offside...but no call by the refs...and soo many other calls that went against Ghana for no reason...If Brazil didn't have the refs on their side this would have been a very close game.
I just hope to see Brazil out now...the way they are playing they dont deserve to win...Argentina all the way!

lol...brazil wins 3-0..and its a poor performance.
not every chance in soccer is converted into a goal. if it was, u'd see scorelines of 10-8. its the finishing that counts. u can have 90-10 possession, it doesn't count for anything if you don't win. if ghana had converted allll their chances, and so had brazil. brazil still would've won.
brazil did play a little bit more defensively today than usual, and i think it was better because ghana is a fast counter attacking team. and playing defensively is what cost them their attacking flare.

Besides the obvious 3-0 score, the most telling statistic from this game might be the shots/shots on goal. Ghana outshot Brasil 21-13. Brasil had 11 on goal, while Ghana had 9.
Parreira is crap and it's his fault that Brasil is playing so poorly. Maybe now he's finally realized that Adriano and Ronaldo together don't work. The team gets slow paced. Juninho Pernambucano gives Ronaldinho freedom to move up and this is essential for them.
Kudos to Ghana. They lack of good finalization and their defensive system was poor (you never can't play offside traps against Brasil). Rookie mistake! Ghana played their hearts out, but Brazil came out on top.

yes, it's extremely close, but still off-side. His left foot and most of his trunk is in front of the defender
