Turkey is considered as European Team thats why they play at ECs as well.
Well Turkey played well and surely deserved a goal and more. They were the better team in the end. I think Senegal was out of breath after Sweds match.

Spain were robbed just like Italy before them. I like the Korean team but they are only in the semis because the linesmen in both previous matches have been denying their opponents clear goals. I think the world cup is being diminished by crucial decisions like this. Germany v Italy/Spain would have been a much better match.
Turkey played well and the winning goal was a cracker. Congrats to them, but they will go out against Brazil.

One thing that no one has mentioned in this thread about the Korean goalie, in penalty kicks session when the goalie is defending the goal you can not come in the front to save the goal, you can only move sideways, and thats what the Korean goalie did when Joaquin came up to shoot, so once again they had to cheat to win.
Spain played better overall, and let me tell you something, South Korea is just a home team wonder, they have had support from the crowd and referees and thats why they even made it out of the group otherwise they would have lost pathetically in the first round.
Finally the Germans will annihkate these chinks in the semis.

That was a law which was implemented from wc 96 but didn't find much sympathese secondly some if you already moving in that direction it's kind a reflex i dont think this is called CHEATING.
Finally even if he would have been on the line he would have saved the poor penality.

Yes your're right, the penalty attempt was pathetic by Joaquin, he was trying to fool the goalie bu stoping for a while, really bad move, and probably he's the reason they lost.
