Re: Working Women

um if you really hate working, stop it then. make yourself and everyone around you happy so they dont have to hear your whining.

if you really hate not working, get a job. make yourself and everyone around you happy so they dot have to hear your whining.

Re: Working Women

I know im gona hate working... once i find a job.. again (and this time ive started looking properly) thats why im ever so grateful HE is studying further... it gives me peace that i can go part time and enjoy the best of both worlds =D

Ive never been a feminist and dont think ill have a problem spending money he earns coz hey, he brings the money and i convert it into food! On the other hand im also grateful that ive got a decent degree and that if it came to it id be able to support myself and a family without a problem... i just chose not to and have a few days in the week where i get to sleep in and stare at the TV munching on cookies waiting for him to come home with chinese food... sounds like my life plan is on track... ahh bliss

I think PCG u need some motivation and excitement... ur day to day working life seems drained of it and maybe u shud start saving up for a holiday with a few girl friends! Dont wait around for a man who's not there yet... make your own excitement... i say u shud enjoy single life while you've got it coz once that baby starts yelling the house down theres no going back!

Re: Working Women

working is good, it keeps you busy, orientated and focused. Working trains my brain too..communicating, innovating, creating..if i was sat at home all day I would turn into mash potato...BUT its also good to keep a balance.

Keep doing things you enjoy, I go to the gym..I enjoy eating out, shopping..i love relaxing and appreciating the time i have off and spending it with people I love, I also make sure I take a good few weeks off every 6 months and go away on vacation. Life doesnt have to be all work and no play...working women Can do both too :-)

nope. I need a hot man in my bed.

Re: Working Women

are you bipolar?

Re: Working Women

Are you nonpolar?

Thing is...no matter what situation we're in, we always think, things could be better. And listen life is hard for everyone..men, women, students, women who work, women who dont work. i'm not saying a break isnt nice once in awhile but count your blessings because there's a lot of people out there that are worse off than you.

Re: Working Women

I, myself am a poplar.

I find it interesting that no woman here appears to want to fronteer anything. No hintellechuals in da hause?

oh and on your way back from work grab something really good to eat, pepsi and a good movie to watch and sit and enjoy it. go to bed and wake up refreshed!!

try ice cream too (but while you eat it dont think about how many calories it is). just enjoy it and then later be like ok i have to watch what i eat for the next two days or so. indulge a little every now and then.

Re: Working Women

hmm pcg do u feel some how u stuck in life? therefore this feeling..i feel its not related to the job as much as the empty feeling of nothingness from different aspects in ur life. i feel it too sometimes when life becomes a monotonous drag, worse is the thought tht the burden of this drag is just on ur shoulders n even fr a while u wana peacefully quit u cnt cuz u r there for urself only n no one else.even if u got an option to quit ur job ud take a break but u would never quit thts for sure but ud like to have been provided with an option atleast of someone being providing for u..ryte???im sure u feel tht sometimes..

u r liivng a life of single girl whos career oriented its obvious sometimes u'll be tired of the drag n wonder hows the grass on the other side...its a normal feeling for a single gurl to feel this way dosn't mean u quit ur job or give up ur apartment. Trust me ur bad room mate is better than a snoring husband!!!!!!!!

its temporary feeling till u dunt force urself to make it into a bigger isse in ur head..u certainly are living every married gurls dream! :)

Re: Working Women

join a fight-club.

omg im sick of my current job, to the back teeth, but its a job and i think sitting at home watching tv can be enjoyed only for a while, before you get bored and depressed at sitting at home all day doing not a lot. perhaps pcg, u need a new job?

lool! there it is then the answer to all ur problems.. get man hunting!

precisely what I am doing tonight

Re: Working Women

I definitely have days (or months) where I just don't want to go to work. But I have to say that once I'm there, I'm usually happy. Whether it's being in the classroom with my students or chatting in the office with my colleagues, the work rejuvenates me because it really is what I love doing. I guess it's important to find that kind of job for yourself, one that you find worthwhile even when it sucks.

be the first one. fronteer pioneer woman. u can do it. we have faith in u. :salute:
