First strangled now poisoned ...Someone should learn how to make a mockery from Jamaica top cop, they "for sure" dont know what killed Woolmer or he died of natural causes. They will play this game till the end of the world cup for sure.

Re: WOOLMER’S MURDER
Reading this article](http://content-usa.cricinfo.com/woolmer/content/current/story/288539.html)I was left wondering if the proof reader at AFP/CricInfo noticed the word “assess” as opposed to “assist”. My guess is that whoever made the statement, used the word “assist” but the reporters got it as “assess” and consequently it now seems as if Jamaican Police will be reviewed by a Pakistani inspector.
Re: WOOLMER’S MURDER
Chalo …Body has been embalmed before any 2nd post morten…goofs at Jamaica are far from being sleuths…
Re: WOOLMER’S MURDER
Bob Woolmer’s wife did not want him to take the job as Pakistan coach in 2004 but she said there was no indication he was “scared” in the lead-up to his murder. Gill Woolmer also said in an interview with The Times she thought the police investigating her husband’s death were doing a “good job” and she wanted a “speedy conclusion” to the inquiry.
She told the paper Woolmer was not keeping a World Cup diary but was intending to write a book about his time as Pakistan coach, though it “is best if that book never appears now”. “If it is going to cause upset, it is not worth publishing,” Gill Woolmer said.
Woolmer had sent his wife emails from the West Indies but there was “not even a hint in them of his being scared, or of anything to do with match-fixing,” she said. However, she was not keen for him to take the Pakistan role in the first place.
***“I said to him, ‘I cannot believe you are thinking of doing this’,” she said. “He knew the Pakistan side fluctuated in form, but he liked a challenge, and no one else tried to prevent him taking the job.” ***
Gill Woolmer also praised Mark Shields, the chief investigator, for his efforts to find her husband’s killer. “Obviously I have not met Mark Shields but he seems to be doing a good job,” she said. “He is under stress and is tired and requires help because there are so many things to look into. We need to bring this to a speedy conclusion.”

Re: WOOLMER’S MURDER
JAMIACA: Jamaican police said that the decision whether to handover Woolmer’s body to family or holding it for further investigations would be taken on April 23.
According to Jamaican police sources, the body of late Pakistani coach would not be handed over to his family at the moment and decision in this connection would be taken on April 23.
Meanwhile, two Pakistani officials DIG Investigations Zubair Mahmood and Director FIA Syed Kaleem Imam would meet Deputy Commissioner of Jamaican Police Mark Shields within a day or two.
Pakistan had sent the two officials to West Indies for assistance to Jamaican police in the investigations
This is ridiculous, a month since the death and they are not even releasing the body.

well, some cops get free caribbean vacation
Re: WOOLMER'S MURDER
I believe that they are just delaying the issue so to say waiting for the WC to end because the death of Woolmer might be related to security leaks and match fixers and that point out finger at ICC. Malcom speed surely does not want the WC to be called off because of their own mistakes in handling match fixers
Re: WOOLMER’S MURDER
Razzaq just came up with the most pathetic of statements…I hope the PCB takes action against him for this.
**
Pakistan’s all-rounder Abdul Razzaq has openly criticised late coach Bob Woolmer claiming that he was only interested in keeping his job.
“Bob was a coach just by nature of his job. He knew how to spend his time. For me, he must surely be one of the cleverest Britishers. On the surface he acted as an Asian but inside he was only interested in keeping his job irrespective of victory or defeat,” Razzaq told ‘Khaleej Times’ from Karachi.
Terming the late Englishman as a very shrewd operator, he added,
“Bob knew the art of how to get his way out. His main objective was to earn money and nothing else. His involvement with the team made no difference.”
The 27-year-old all-rounder also criticised Pakistan’s former South African coach Richard Pybus, under whom the 1992 champions failed to qualify for Super Sixes in the 2003 World Cup in South Africa.
“Richard was not a coach. He was merely a trainer,” he said.
However, Razzaq, who missed the Caribbean World Cup due to an injury, was of the view that the Pakistani national cricket team should have a domestic coach as the idea of roping in foreign coach have failed miserably despite spending huge sums of money.
Re: WOOLMER'S MURDER
It is morons like Razzaq who didn't take benefit of having a smart coach. Now since Inzi has retired he has opened his mouth to cover up Inzi's mistakes.
One pea-brain speaking for another pea-brain.

Re: WOOLMER’S MURDER

Imran, Zaheer and other cricketers also criticized Bob as a coach.
Re: WOOLMER'S MURDER
MWAP, criticizing methodology is different as there could be difference in people's approach on how to coach or improve player's abilities. But attacking one's diginity, saying that he only wanted to secure his place or was money hungry shows the character of the person that is talking. And keep in mind this is Razzaq who is talking who himself has underaceived to his potential.

Another twist - this time about the POISON theory they had early on -
