WOOLMER'S MURDER/BODY RELEASED

Re: WOOLMER'S MURDER

Everyone is invited to the most powerful yet downplayed point. Sheilds is now in the limelight he has never been before, nor he may be in future as well. He is being watched and heard by the entire world. Anything that he says, is a news. Anywhere he moves, he is captured by media. At this point of time, any word he utters, in terms of importance, he could be bracketed with internation political figures likes Bush, Blair, Ban, Musharraf and not-so-political like Osama & Co. and whatnot. Sheilds knows it very well that the spotlight will move on the moment this case is resolved or the moment it is termed a natural death. He is now saying that it could take months to solve the case. I cliam it WILL TAKE YEARS and still no result will ever come out.

He knows that to keep in news, keep the case open and keep it controversial.

Re: WOOLMER’S MURDER

Well not only that imagine how many news papers (specially tabloids) Sun, Sunday Sport, Mirror getting sold everyday with new twist in the story:

This is good reading: about three suspects ??? SUSPECT Pakistani fans…

Bob Woolmer Murder - Hanger-Oners Wanted
27th
Mar

woolmer1.jpg“WANTED BY WOOLMER COPS,” announces the Mirror’s front page.

Readers who had expected the Cricket World Cup to be about palm trees, sunburnt necks and women in conch-shell bikini tops instead see grainy images of three men.

The trio are, in no special order, Jundi Khan, Hamad Malik and Erfan Chaudhary. They are the “three hanger-on fans”.

Can there be a worse epithet to go by? There is nothing admirable in being a hanger-oner. At least stalker suggests a motive.

Thus labelled it would not surprise us if the three never surfaced again, remaining holed up in some suburban bedroom, secreted beneath an official Pakistan duvet cover and talking about the great days of Imran Khan’s hair by the light of a torch fashioned from, well, Imran Khan’s hair.

“They hung around team for days..now they’re vanished,” says a headline further inside the paper.

“Fans vanish after murder,” says the Sun. They “vanished” the day Bob Woolmer died.

Do you know where the vanishing fans are? Study the picture. Jamaica’s deputy police commissioner Mark Shields says: “We are looking for them to eliminate them from inquiries.”

One of the three, Hamed Malik, is based in the UK. Chaudhary is believed to be back at his home in New York. And there is a fourth man. He’s called Tariq Milk. He lives in Jamaica. And he has come forward to help the police.

But before we condemn the men in their absence, the Sun wonders is they are the guilty parties. Perhaps – just perhaps – Woolmer was killed by a “silent assassin”.

Shields of the Yardies says it wasn’t a local killer, at least he thinks not. “The fact at it was manual strangulation, asphyxiation, doesn’t really fit the profile,” says he. “One would tend to find either firearms or knives as the favoured weapons.”

So we are back to the missing trio. “CRICKET MURDER: BRITISH SUSPECT ON RUN,” says the Star’s front page. This is, of course, more then presumptuous, it being far less than certain that Hamed Malik is running anywhere. Indeed, as a fan of a failed team – Pakistan are out of the World Cup – he may be expected to find a dark corner to weep in.

And we have yet to see the CCTV footage of the corridor at the Pegasus hotel, scene of Bob Woolmer’s murder.

Do the missing three feature? Are they fielding as the corridor is used for late-night cricket practice, a carpeted wicket?

As yet, we do not know. But, as with so much cricket and sport, we’ll amuse ourselves during the breaks in play…

Re: WOOLMER’S MURDER

Re: WOOLMER'S MURDER

also the reports are emerging that Daood Ibrahim's brotrher has some links with Murder?

Re: WOOLMER'S MURDER

^ this makes sense now. Miandad is a close friend/relative of DI.

Re: WOOLMER’S MURDER

now Miandad is linked :hehe:

Re: WOOLMER'S MURDER

haha i thought about it too....but why would javed waana do that ? Just to get the Pak Coaching job??? and why didnt he think about getting Imran khan killed to get the captaincy in 80's then?

Re: WOOLMER'S MURDER

When is he going to be burried? I don't think jamaican police will be able to find anything, let the poor man rest in peace.

Re: WOOLMER'S MURDER

I think its fair to say that Jamaican police is completely clue less and andharay mein teer chalayay jaa rahi hai.

  • They have no idea who did it.
  • They ruled out locals because of the brilliant logic that if a local had done it, he would have used knives or firearms (fantastic deducion powers ... Sherlock Holmes is proud).
  • Seems like they are collecting DNA from every person in Jamaica without any rhyme or reason (collecting DNA sample is a huge privacy issue, by the way). Ok, I am exagerrating a tad bit here, but the point is they are collecting an awesome database of DNA from which to match later on.
  • They have no suspects.
  • They are no where close to having suspects.
  • Chief investigator says it can take a long time to solve this.
  • There is no conclusive evidence that Woolmer was even murdered, except Chief Investigator saying "I am sure".

At least with Pakistan Police, they'd have caught someone, beat the $hit it of him to get a confession, have him hang himself in the prison cell and get the case closed in no time. These Jamaicans are useless.

Re: WOOLMER'S MURDER

You may have a point there Faisal but what gave me a chuckle this morning was the pakistani police sitting ten thousand miles away suggesting that the first autopsy was wrong and that it is a natural death. This is the same police notorious for getting convictions out of the person been robbed as the robber.

Jamaican police is not any better.

Re: WOOLMER'S MURDER

Faisal
& FG:
I don't know how to tell you that I agree with you 100%%%%%%
Stupid stupid Jamaicans..
And lolz..making Pakistani police look way better.

Re: WOOLMER'S MURDER

ROTFL @ analysis of jamaican police and on top Pakistani police with their two cents

Re: WOOLMER'S MURDER

Whats wrong with ppl, is it so difficult to show some respet to the dead? This guy was the coach for Pakistan cricket team, the least we can do is show some patience and wait for the final results.

This is not a Sherlock Holmes or Alfred Hitchcock movie that ends in 45 minutes, this is real life drama and crimes of this nature are not solved within days or weeks.

Re: WOOLMER'S MURDER

^ yes, Mr Shields.

Re: WOOLMER'S MURDER

^Thanku Mr Hair.

Re: WOOLMER'S MURDER

I am sure in the end it will prove to be a natural death (or by overdosing or something). Jamaican Police commissioner will keep on pro-longing this case. He has never seen so many camera before in his life. Media is after him. He is feeling like a Hollywood star. Even if this turned out to be murder in the end, I am with Faisal that Jamican police has no clue of what to do next!

Re: WOOLMER’S MURDER

Pakistan to hold Woolmer service

**A memorial service for murdered Pakistan cricket coach Bob Woolmer will be held in Lahore on Sunday. **
The service, which has been organised by the Pakistan Cricket Board, will be held at Sacred Heart Cathedral from 12 noon to 1pm local time.
The memorial service will be open to anyone who wishes to pay their respects to Woolmer.
He was killed on 18 March, the day after Pakistan were beaten by Ireland in the World Cup. During his playing career he earned 19 Test caps for England before becoming a much-respected coach. Aside from Pakistan he also coached South Africa and enjoyed great success coaching in English county cricket, winning four trophies in two seasons with Warwickshire.

Re: WOOLMER'S MURDER

CCTV cameras captured each and every second of outside of woolmer's room. How many people wud have come in and out of that room around the time of death 10, max. 20, not more than that.

Is it too hard to get DNA evidence from 20 people and match with that on the body? They already have DNA samples from players and officials, if anyone else was there, why don't we see any hunt for them?

Has there been any international warrant?
