Do we have all the information? All we have is some very limited itsy bitsy information, yet shoaib is being sent to the drycleaners, have we forgotten it was his bowling that made all the difference in the first inning? Haste makes waste, we can wait....
I am his biggest supporter on the forum (along with Raindance), but if he has done this on purpose, if he has left his team stranded in the middle of a very important test match, and if he is planning to ruin the victory set up by a brilliant Inzamam inning, I shall never support him again. He has disappointed his fans here. Coach or no coach, phadda or no phadda, the team comes first, and he knows that and claims that more than anyone else. Lastly, I hope we win this test because Inzi played the innings of a lifetime and he deserves victory.
I really hope that he was unfit otherwise he is not going to get any support from any fan. News from different sections of media are indicating that he is unfit. Now why he is unfit and not match fit, and why PCB sent him to SA is a totally dfferent issue and not related to the topic of discussion here in this thread.
The footage in Geo News is from Pakistan training session before Champions Trophy and could be just a friendly pushing between the two. The fact is that they were involved in a heated discussion today and it was seen on TV. Such incidents should not happen but another fact is that these things do happen in a team. Right now people are accusing that Shoaib didn't show up because of this paddha. However I think that is not the case (my personal opinion) and even if it is the case still we have the hear from Woolmer, Shoaib and Pak management before passing our final verdict. As usual the fans are ready to draw conclusions without any evidence.
Look fkhan, I’m a Shoaib fan (and this is not just a favor to ehsan bhai for unbanning me!), but if he wasn’t fully fit, he should have flat out refused to show up to the tour. Nobody would have said anything. Now what happened instead was that everybody started accusing Inzi of excluding him, while Shoaib did not release any statements to clarify the situation. Second, he should have kept his cool in the ground while practicing. If he wanted a heated argument so badly, he should have done it in the dressing room. This further destroys his image, and he would end up looking like the bad guy. Even if Woolmer said something sarcastically, you can understand his frustration; he has only 3 bowlers left and we have a test match to win.
^ Hahaha.. bechaaray bachay pehlay pehlay tour par niklay hongay. This just goes to show another major hurdle that our everyday international plyers have to face and how they always manage to keep themselves virus free.
shoaib is not faking this injury, he menioned in his interview after day 1 with ian bishop that his hamstring is giving him a problem so n e 1 saying he is ruining Inzamams great innings needs to get there facts straight!
