You know what I don't like? If a woman says she's not interestd in V Day then someone's bound to say 'oh that's cos you have no control over your man' or if you're single 'well of course you don't like V Day, you're being bitter blah di blah'.
I disagree that people should treat every day like valentine's day, that's impossible to do 365 days of the year.
I just think Valentines Day is crap itself. What a waste of last-minute-supermarket dashing.

flowers are beautiful and its one of the several days that people remember to love each other.
So what if marketers exploit this? money has to go around some how and why is it so wrong to remember to buy something for the person you love? one of the good days that doesn't single out any race or belief :P

I hate the whole debate about this day and if it should be celebrated or not… 
The main thing is forgetting your haya and going off boundaries is wrong and that rule should not be not limited to this day only. So why make such a big deal out of a day which you can very well choose to not celebrate 
.
For me it’s just a special day where you express your love for your loved ones, not saying that we shouldn’t do it everyday but do we? We definately don’t so these special days are just reminders for us to express our love. Atleast that’s how i take it! And it could be our love for anyone at all whether it be a parent, sibling, friend, kid or a bf/gf.

I think turning it into a BIG deal is wrong. Like can anyone imagine being a flower shop on Valentine’s Day? The amount of craziness that must happen there!
Its nice to take out some time and do something different for each other you normally don’t do. It could be flowers (), candy, dinner, a movie, a walk, etc.
All it does is remind you that you should be doing this or trying to do this everyday.
