I am not defending any rapist and I am not saying it's RIGHT. I am saying BOTH are at fault in case of drinking.
Um, you're comparing Hurricane Katrina (an uncontrollable weather damage) to drunk women (something they can VERY much control)? It's a woman's job to protect her ownself. Im gonna say this again, if you're gonna put yourself in a position where anyone can take advantage of you then yes you are at fault. It's like presenting the opportunity to a rapist who is looking around for a victim. Do women not know how common rape is? Especially around these club/downtown/party areas? When you drink, you're allowing yourself to lose control. It's like knowing you're putting yourself at risk of something bad happening but thinking, oh it won't happen to me.
