Ummm that's what I said....a drunk girl is not causing harm to anyone but herself since she is intoxicated and not in her senses. I already acknowledged that.Of course no one forced alcohol down her throat...she is a careless girl who got drunk and now is walking to her car in the parking lot all one. Still does not give anyone the right to force himself onto her and rape her.
Why are you not getting my point? Of course she lost control when she got drunk. That does not mean she should be blamed for getting raped. Getting drunk in this society is not a crime, rape is. The person who gets drunk is stupid, careless, even an idiot but they cannot be blamed for getting raped!

A woman who gets intoxicated beyond her limits has a HIGHER chance of getting in trouble...much higher. No one is interested in who is to blame after a crime as heinous as rape occurs. Do you think an actual rape victim's pain is any less just because a judge decides to punish her attacker and put it on paper that it was all HIS fault? No.
"What can be done to make sure it doesnt happen again?" is the more productive question.
