Women never forget their first true love

is that true?

I have few issues with this statement though.

  1. How would you know 30 years down the road that your affair at the age 17 was indeed a ‘true love’ and not your teenage hormones kicking in? But more importantly,

  2. The claim is presented as some kind of a positive trait, like to show that how loyal women are in nature. To me its nothing short of pure disloyalty, especially when that woman is married to another guy and already have 3 kids with him.

  3. What is ‘forget’? We never forget any important event of our life anyways. Its always living in our mind. So such claim is bogus as it has nothing to do with loyalty (even if my point #2 is incorrect) but with memory. Its like men claiming that ‘men never forget their first 3 piece suit’. WTH.

Women don’t forget anything, TLK :chai:

Re: Women never forget their first true love

Aunty or Haathi ki yaad’dasht bohat zyada hoti hai :chai:

Re: Women never forget their first true love

CM really stands for cute munda? I thought CM stands for nothing.

Anyhoo, so the claim is about their sharp memory and not their loyalty factor.

Re: Women never forget their first true love

Yes, it stands for Cute Munda....he told me so himself (just as the pink signature states).

Yup...women have a sharp memory. The haathi that is Nomi can relate :p.

Re: Women never forget their first true love

iA, I'll have a gender change operation and let you know

Re: Women never forget their first true love

Fair enough. But then it means that they should remember all of their affairs - true and untrue, both. If they are conveniently forgetting their untrue ones, then they are hypocrite.

Re: Women never forget their first true love

All men could benefit from a gender change operation in that they'll actually have a heart for the first time in their lives. :) :) Oh and a brain too.

Re: Women never forget their first true love

I'd actually like to think that it's men who don't forget their true love IF they do experience one.

Women in true love move on more easily than men in true love once they get emotional and financial security.

Re: Women never forget their first true love

I think the statement that women never forget their first true love is one of those illogical Bollywood type statements. What first love? What true love? So women actually sit down and analyze what make their love for someone true or first?

Please. I think it's women who don't have much going on in their lives, or women who are generally not satisfied with their current lives and looking for "secrets" who end up making such statements.

Thank you.

My wife always makes so much of sense.
