Saudis got the law wrong. Saudis are not the authority on Shariat, in fact they are jack asses when it comes to defining Islam. Ayesha (RA) rode back to Madinah, not only alone but actually in the company of a Na-mehram, and Quran swore upon her sharafat. Find me a hadees which says, even after that incident, that woman riding a camel (driving a car) alone is haram.
