Re: Women Cursing
and WHY is it ok for a man to swear? or why is it ok for a woman to swear in english?
i dont get it..i am always in more trouble for swearing than my brothers...actually everything else too for that matter
Re: Women Cursing
^ thanks to Hollywood swearing in English by a woman has been made common, and it doesn't seem odd to see a woman swearing.
But you will see that Desi films still show women in semi-traditional roles & Pakistani Dramas will give it’s viewer a heart attack to show a woman using strong curse words. The only Desi movie where I ever heard a woman swear was Phollan Devi.
Re: Women Cursing
i only know “ullu ka patha” and “gadhay di dum” ![]()
Re: Women Cursing
OMG! u guys need to stop the whole MAN WOMAN thing..if swearing is wrong its wrong for BOTH!!!! And actually it is. Why is it so normal for a man to swear?
Re: Women Cursing
I didn't say it was ok for a man, I just said it doesn't sound as odd.
Re: Women Cursing
it should though, right?
Re: Women Cursing
it depends on have you been around men who cus or women. The school I went to in Pakistan was one where you would get beaten up if you didn't swear.
Re: Women Cursing
watt? if you didnt swear?
I hate swearing n it has nothing to do with me being a girl, its just wrong n i shouldnt do it but sometimes it seems like thats the only way to get the point across.

Re: Women Cursing
Women cursing is such poor form. Really disgusting.
Women should carry themselves with grace and elegance. Roselyn Sanchez-esque.
Re: Women Cursing
ha ha ha so tru i cud think of some areas where that kind of language is all u will hear.
Re: Women Cursing
A foul mouthed woman is nothing to crow about.
Two foul mouthed women going at followed by a nice long chick-fight is just awesome.

Re: Women Cursing
Have you ever seen a Pakistani born woman working in America cursing like a horse's mouth. I saw it yesterday and I am still in S.H.O.C.K.
She used typical desi gaalian, quite fluently...the likes of maader and behan. She was pissed at her boss. As much as I enjoyed such crap coming from an otherwise well reserved lady, it did leave a bad taste in my ears.
Hmmm...
Since I am in the mood of making lists, turn-offs in particular order of their extent according to me are:
1: Woman cursing...(Never in public and specially never madar pidar kind...)
2: Smell of cigarettes...(Again, specially in public)
3: Whining...(Anytime...)
