This is true. That’s happened to every woman in my family - my mom, my sister, my cousins, etc.
My sister, case in point, used to be sooooooo excessive in her shopping. I mean, this girl HAD to have a new brand name purse every year, and its because she didn’t understand what daddy was going through to afford that for her.
Now she has a job and she’s in grad school, and we’ve handed all her finances over to her, and our family gives her a monthly allowance plus the little she makes with her part-time, and she’s managing her education loans…
that’s pretty much put an end to coach purses.
