She was not violated in the name of Islam, but triabl “honour”. There is a not so subtle subterfuge here.
We are humbly following the example of the Prophet (pbuh). We want to get it right, and not just wing it because other people look down on us if we have the audacity to be different from them.
You’ve hit the nail on the head. We are praying to Allah…so who cares if women can lead or not? All we are trying to do is pray to Allah in a manner suggested by the Prophet (pbuh).

There has been no, and should be no, evolution in the manner in which we perform Islamic rites. This are independent of social context. I would argue that if anything, we should drop the nonsensical arguments about why males are selected to lead and not women…and simply be honest: somethings we do are not for reason but for the love of God. There is no reason in particular why women can’t lead, it’s just not the established procedure.

Islam wasnt meant just for the time of the Prophet (SAW). I mean I assure you that God is All- Knowing. He knows things would change, people would change, times would change - but He created a religion for us , that would remain and apply to all time.

this doesn’t suffice to show that the hadith is weak since there’s at least one other chain of transmission for Umm Waraqah’s report (in Sunan Abu Dawud and a number of other hadith collections) that doesn’t contain the aforementioned Abd al Rahman ibn Khallad…

I already answered it. Allah forbid women to lead men, and said
In Surah AN-NISA chapter number 4 verse number 34
"Men are the maintainers of women because Allah has made some of them to excel others and because they spend out of their property; the good women are therefore obedient, guarding the unseen as Allah has guarded; and (as to) those on whose part you fear desertion, admonish them, and leave them alone in the sleeping-places and beat them; then if they obey you, do not seek a way against them; surely Allah is High, Great. "

^ and that is why Islam is so better than all of these other religions. We have some real gutsy people in our religion. And the funny thing is even those that are staunch against females being imams, etc - are the very ones admitting that the evidence is fuzzy and either side can debate their own claim.
I don’t think you’d see this much of an open attitude in any other religion.

Very bad translation.
"excel" is not translated as "excel" actually. The real translation is along the connotations of superior physical strength. There is NOTHING in the Quran that says men have stronger minds than women.
Also the term "beat" is translated actually as lightly beat. As in a slap on the wrist. Not whipping them with belts.
See, how easily men out there twist the meaning of EVEN THE QURAN?!?
