Matsui Uncle, cheating has nothing to do with # of husbands/wives. Cheating is a sickness. I have seen guys who date 3 or 4 girls, and still cheat on them. Same with some women. It’s an illness brother.

no buddy u are wrong… quran sharif asks men to treat all four equally.. so if there is a sheikh creep with four wives (aged 50, 30, 25 and 20 resply.), hes gonna make love to the 20 yr old more than the 50 yr old… wheres equality there?? so the 50 yr old wife shud have rights to slam the balls of the hawaskhor sheikh.

OK Wait a minute I have two wives. I treat them equally. Well sort of. It's the beating part I need to work on, lately the cost of living has gone up and they are not curbing their expenses.

You can beat a child mildly or harshly.
For me it is normal. for you it may be a crime.
Similar is the case with other arguments

Rights and responsibilities. Both work both earn and spend on themselves and their off springs. But In Islam skewed against men see how…
It is SOLE responsibility of Man to provide resources for every need of his wife/children/parents. Well
Islam give due share from inheritance to women from their family members..
Islam allows women to earn living by working
But why Islam does not ask them to share the responsibility as Quran orders MEN to take all the responsibility to fulfill their every need and even beyond that

YUSUFALI: Let the women live (in 'iddat) in the same style as ye live, according to your means: Annoy them not, so as to restrict them. And if they carry (life in their wombs), then spend (your substance) on them until they deliver their burden: and if they suckle your (offspring), give them their recompense: and take mutual counsel together, according to what is just and reasonable. And if ye find yourselves in difficulties, let another woman suckle (the child) on the (father’s) behalf.
PICKTHAL: Lodge them where ye dwell, according to your wealth, and harass them not so as to straiten life for them. And if they are with child, then spend for them till they bring forth their burden. Then, if they give suck for you, give them their due payment and consult together in kindness; but if ye make difficulties for one another, then let some other woman give suck for him (the father of the child).
See the bold and underline part…
Here Allah does not order women to feed their own offspring, but if they do by their own free will, Allah orders father to pay for this, along side providing boarding and lodging.
Now which govt, society, or person in right mind can tolerate this kind of injustice ?
It is child’s birth right to be nursed by his mother, It is her child, her eternal duty to feed.
How can you logically say that father is bound to pay for this milk ??
Here is a very fine line between what is commanded and permission.
Sadly most orders are for men in Islam 
A man is allowed to marry 4 women but *ordered * to marry only one if he can’t do justice.
A woman is allowed to earn livelihood but a man is ordered to bear all expenses of his wife/children.
A mother is requested to nurse her baby and if she agrees father is ordered to pay for her services.
Discrimination at its best :k:

No verizon. I think the verse is misunderstood. Define the situation, define beating. But in the end if Allah can forgive us for some of our biggest sins, who are we to get worked up over the small things? See we're not looking at everything else, we're looking at only one angle. In order to understand we're probably going to have to apply all our rules of forgiving and forgetting and making sure things improve rather than get worse. You dont hear of the Prophet going around beating women do you? And I have yet to hear of an example where something like this was done. Islam demands that men take care of the women.
Im sorry Im not able to get the verse, but I know that when somebody asked the Prohet SAW how that man could have a chance to go to heaven, the Prophet SAW replied "do not get angry".
Something along those lines.
This whole issues is a lot more compliccated its nto a simple fact of "oh beat the women shes acting liek a fool."
One verse alone cant really stand on its own. We have to take into consideration everything else that Islam demands too.

Well then it's back to contradiction. If quraan says 4:34 beat your wife and 11:xxx now dont beat your wife should we then stick with later argument and forget the first one? Why would Allah (swt) contradict himself?
