I came to the conclusion because instead of addressing the question/topic (abuse against men is trivialized), you started spouted stats on why women were the greater victims and ignored the topic at hand. Your post minimized the issue.

Guilty as charged. Something abt forest from trees. Yes I realize topic was one should not trivialize abuse against men. Am fully on board. (it honestly didn’t occur to me to say so explicitly).

I understand how that could have led to misinterpretation that my post was biased. Hope my clarification helped. To me the claim in OP abt 40 pct abuse victims were men was the bigger story. It simpky jumped out as WAY OFF. And so I set abt finding the truth. And the truth is way off from the claim in OP.
