Many reasons, but the most logical is maybe she’s just busy and knows you can wait as your message probably wasn’t important for a reply right away but obviously it can be irksome if you wanna talk to someone but they ain’t replying right away, probably even more annoying if you know they’ve read your message but haven’t replied. One would think if you have time to read a message you have time to reply but maybe that’s just me.

It’s probably just as obvious she isn’t interested if she’s giving one word replies or isn’t initiating contact.

If you’re both talking to each other and the flow of chat is good, what makes it desperate? If you text someone one or twice or even three times but no reply and it’s been days. I’m pretty sure the general consensus is the other party isn’t interested.

Agree but rarely the balance is same for both individuals. If someone initiates texts/responds timely to get to know the person, most people take that as desperate.

Considering the desi culture and the age conformity to the maturity level exercised in the subcontinent. All these people would have been around 12 or 13 when the fell in love. So yea..

I’ll give Romeo and Juliet th benefit of the doubt, they weren’t in their late 30’s and only after completing their PHD on the economic strategy of medieval Italy and Stockholm that they decided to fall in love. Or let me put it bluntly they were “Young” and not mature as much you think. Love has nothing to do with maturity. If you’re mature, you wouldn’t fall in love. You would become a lawyer instead. Love is futile. Lust however is another thing.

Why would that matter? Honestly? If the object is to get married then WHAT IS THE MATTER? If the intention is to have sex then WHY care who is desperate or not? I don’t get this CRAP!
