This is what I once experienced in a wedding (or was it Mehndi, I forgot!)…
I was a kid and hence was sitting along with my mom and sisters in the girls’ area …
The Drum (dhol) was being played … girls had created two parties and were competing with each others on songs…
Banno! teray abba kee OoNchi haveli maiN dhooNdhtaa chalaa aayaa
The whole Room was like a fish market with red, blue, gota kinaari, clothes, sharaaray, gharaaray, gulaab and what not …!
All of a sudden, people started screaming… “Woh Aaa Gaye! Woh Aa Gaye!”
What a mayhem it was… People were running from here and there…! little teenage girls were standing in front of mirrors and making their dress look tidy, hair braided well, doing make-up touch ups …
The singing parties re-organised and sit with proper settings…
Every single face was happy!!!
In a few minutes, two guys entered the room…
One was holding a big flash light and the other some professional movie camera…
people in Pakistan are still conscious about the movie. sab celebrations bas movie ke liye hi hoti hain. the funny/silly thing I find kay larrkay ko larrki ke father 10 baar gharri pehnatay hain siraf iss chakkar main ke movie maker uss scene ko capture kar lay
haaN tau kiyaa buraai hai? ghaRi is important thing and the reason the scene is captured taakay sanad rahai aur ba waqt-e-zaroorat kaam aaye.. for example, dulhan can remind dulha anytime in life about that watch whenever he forgets and claims to be the buyer of the watch
