Actually the same thing applies for both men and women. Everyone always blasts that hadith everywhere, but I have been told that it works both ways. If a man refuses his wife, he gets the same “punishment” as when a woman refuses a man. However at the same time, the husband (or wife) should be sensitive to their spouses feelings. If they are not feeling well (genuinely), then they should respect that, and not try to make them uncomfortable.
