Where were you when the Iraqis were suffering under Saddam?

We were crying out then like we are now, cept there was no internet. Furthermore, If 'we' were silent back then, you guys were one step ahead, helping them to die, be it through providing weapons or sanctions. So its a tad rich trying to claim the high ground here. The damage was done way back then.

Why is it that what "we" were doing is judged on a personal level buy what "you guys" were doing is based on what my government was doing? I wasn't providing weapons or sanctions. If one is judged on a personal level, fine or if it's our govenments/representatives, fine. But it needs to be applied conistently.

Could it be because you and your administration pretty much agree on everything that matters regarding the topic?

So do you condemn your government for providing weapons and support to Saddam? Do you condemn the cruel sanctions regime which led to millions of deaths or brought absolute misery to millions of Iraqi people?

You are judged personally because you support the "shock and awe" that has led to tens of thosuands of Iraqi people being killed by the US military. To this day you defend the illegal invasion, occupation and oppression of the Iraqi people, so don't gripe when people judge you personally.

Malik you supported Saddam by supporting his stay in power, another hypercritic who's words mean nothing, don't try and spin it any other way.

I was not the one shaking hands and supping with Saddam. Wanna see the pictures of who was?

Today's London Times has a headline of "Britain and US plan for quick exit from Iraq". After the horrific scale of torture, rape, and murder exposed at Abu Ghraib, it's about time these shameless war criminals left asap.

No apologies for GITMO.

US is and will always be the champion of rights of humanity.

But Vietnam and Korea was the honour of the highest order with no parallel in history. I hope the poll I requested "will amreeka run from Iraq" is still available. In time I intend to bring that thread right back to the top.....
