With due respect to Salafi brothers

Man why do you put your foot on top of the foot of the person standing next to you? I understand that we should not leave any empty space between people when we are standing in a row to offer salat, but pressing the foot of person next to you is very irritating for that person. That takes away his Khushoo o Khuzoo, and I am sure that distracting a namazi from his namaz got to be a bigger sin than leaving an inch of space between his foot and yours.

No disrespect intended, its just a question .. but when I am at the mosque, I totally avoid standing next to any known salafi. I dont like getting my foot crushed.

Re: With due respect to Salafi brothers

what is Salafi ? :hmmm:

Re: With due respect to Salafi brothers

Hmmm, a school of thought. I think they are like Ahl-e-Hadees bothers of Pakistan, a little different though.

Re: With due respect to Salafi brothers

:rotfl:

Seriously, that’s a major major problem!! When they get up they again have to connect the feet… what the?!

Re: With due respect to Salafi brothers

I used to go to their mosque long time ago and there was this 6 feet tall 250 lbs guy who always landed up next to me. Man did he use to press my foot. And whenever I tried to pull my foot away, he used to grab me by my sock.

Re: With due respect to Salafi brothers

^ hahahahhahah :omg:

Re: With due respect to Salafi brothers

^^ OH MY :omg:!!

:rotfl:

the funniest is when they will stretch their feet on both sides… looks uncomfortable to me. :o

thats nothing compared to what u have to go through in Makkah. When dad went away for the "shaitaan ko kankariyan marnay wala part" and didn’t come back to the camp for ages, mom (pregnant at the time of her hajj) thought she was widowed and her baby was never gonna see its daddy :naak:

I always thought that your feet should be in line with your sholder, means you should not occupy more space than what your body does in a natural standing position .. but then what do I know

:rotfl: Don’t they fall on their faces ?

I never came across any salafi as yet.
Why don’t they carry two pieces of rope and tie the legs of two brothers on the side with their or they should carry leg shekels and snap theirs and two of the brothers on their sides. :mad2:

:hehe: …that is so cute of your mom.

How cute :D!!!

its actually really really scary, from whatever i can remember! Mom was right to be worried!

Whats cuter is that dad and chaachu used to make this protective shield around my mother with their arms :rotfl:

so that no one could bump into her and make her fall or something u know? :naak: aapi popped out safe and sound afterwards so their efforts did pay off!

:rotfl:

i remember one brother was telling us how he and his brother-in-law had to protect his sister (when kissing black stone) just like ur said by surrounding her like a wall… lol the funny part is when his ihram almost fell… :rotfl: so it was total jihad, he had to block people n protect his sister and same time take care of his ihram… LOL

:omg: disassterrrr

Re: With due respect to Salafi brothers

@cricketplaya…BUt…why he was protecting like her like this ? :hmmm:..i mean it was Khana Kaba not shopping center or something :hmmm:

total rush towards the black stone / kaba.. that’s why.

:smilestar:

That is why:

can u imagine a lady trying to touch this wall? let alone a pregnant lady.

darn this thread :hinna: i really really really realllyyy want to go there now! :frowning:
