I guess that proves our point. Spelling is important. The most commom method set down. Else we'd have very large dictionaries, and very confused people .

I'm sorry, I couldn't finish reading all the replies, since the whole topic IMHO is a bit senseless and not worth discussing. I just wanted to add that once I heard from someone that

MohammAd

was actually spelled that way by enemies of Islam, since MohamMAD implies that Rasul was Mad - i.e. out of his mind.

Anyone heard something similar as being factual or is this just some desi paranoid conspiracy theory?
