K can't be made into a 'Qaaf'...K has no connotation of the throat popping that acompanies a 'Qaaf'...
We use K as a 'Kaaf'...Like Kaleem, Kalam...But for 'Qaaf' we use Q like Qalam, Qaleen, Qulb...
