Regarding the pronounciation part, its kind of same but the accent is very important. For sure you speak all these words the local public will go ga ga over it.

Traffic is pathetic, loads and loads of people around the main areas and overall very friendly people.
And yes yeng idiya is quite slang for elderly people its yeng idira.
