If waseela and sirfarish was a RIGHT thing to do then Prophet mohammad could have used his prophethood to ask allah to forgive his parents for worshiping idols. And in fact he did but Allah declined!
If Prophet mohammad's request was declined in this matter, what makes you think allah will "listen" to Hazrat Ali, even though he is from family of the prophet... he is at much lower level compared to Prophet Mohammad.

are u allright..this is a wahabi belief that Prophets parents were idol worshipers...then you must also believe that Prophet became muslim at the age of 40..right

Astafur-allah, the parents of the best of creation were muslims in the ummah of the relevant messenger of that period. The entire blood line of rasool-Allah is muslim, under the relevant nabi.

Wasn't Islam first introduced by Mohammed(pbuh)?? his father died a couple of months before his birth and his mother died when he was only six years old.. Now you guys decide whether they were Muslims or Non-Muslims!

Prophet Adam was Muslim, Prophet Idris was muslim, Prophet Nuh was muslim, Prophet Ibrahim was muslim, Prophet Ismail was Muslim, Prophet Isa was muslim and prophet Muhammad was Muslim the day he was born.

All prophets were Muslims and whatever they "preached" was Islam, Prophet Mohammad didn't "preach" islam until he was forty years old! Before that he use to go to cave hira and worship Allah alone...

Well, I didn’t quite understand how they were Muslims, I mean, I’m not saying that they were idol worshippers but if they were also teaching “Islam” for people to become “Muslims” then why doesn’t the Bible or Torah mention these two words(however they’re translated in hebrew) even once?
Are you saying that Mohammed(pbuh) had been practicing “Islam” before Quran was revealed to him..How could he do that?

The prophet of Allah had his heart purified by angels at like age 6, Hamza speaks on this, they acted in the best of ways for there entire life. it was revealed that they start to spread Islam at gae 40, they were a prophet and the way of Allah personified from birth.

And I don't disrespect our Prophet neither am I saying that he was a sinner before the Quran was revealed to him. I know his life can't be compared to ordinary human beings because he never sinned. I read somewhere that he didn't worship idols but his religion wasn't recognized before Quran was revealed. All I meant to say was that he didn't just begin calling himself a Muslim from the moment he was born!
