Need a wireless router for DSL home networking (g please). Suggest good ones, ones that i can buy from best buy or tiger direct.

U actually had to ask that question formally? Go to ur closest futurama and get one that's the best deal. They're all the same, specially for noobs. Sheesh!!

dood i DID get one on sale…and it sucks cuz it was a sucky thing! so i just wanna get one that will last me atleast a year some help you are i don’t want to be disconnected every 2 minutes and get reconnected on.

I had D-links for 3+ years and never gave any problems. It's still working on this day. When I moved, I bought a new one for my apartment and that one is Linksys and that one is working out great. You should be able to get a really good one around $50. This one is "speed booster". I believe the regular one was around $35.

linksys or netgear are both good.. the one that i steal from my neighbour has netgear.( the one im on right now)...so i would say its got pretty strong signals...

Those are the best kinds. Always look out for the ones that says the actual brand name for their SSID. ;)

Linksys. I currently use the below model. Reasonably priced and its never failed on me yet.

question, don't you need an N card to use the N router? or does it work with b/g card as well?

from what i have researched before buying it was that the N is in draft stages so yes N router have the ability to work with b/g..
