Re: Winter Conversations: Hadeels Hangout
As odd as it may seem, I like that there is a community of desis that I can (kinda) connect with. I don’t have a lot of desi people that I associate with in real life, so being it’s kinda cool getting a different view on things.
Also nice being able to just close a window and disconnect when things get out of hand
Considering what a large community we have it, I like the friends and connections I’ve made
Challo, enough makhan laga-ing. Biryani time!!

Re: Winter Conversations: Hadeels Hangout
llxxll:
i like the topic too but food is awesome
i am the same online as in reality and I assume everyone else is too unless proven otherwise (that assumption gets me in trouble sometimes)
i am as chirpy in real life as long as the following conditions are met:
life isn’t giving me a rough time
it’s not the first time im meeting you
if i am meeting u for the first time then im quiet and reserved (for like 5 minutes lol)
and if i am having a rough go of it then also i am quiet and reserved
Hmmm life does give one a tough time at times and it might bring you down too, but I hope you bounce back? I know I do. Always have been this way thankfully.
About meeting someone the first one.. damn I am good at it. I act as if I’ve known the other person forever
LOL. And I thought you did. Not a very pleasant surprise.
GS has def become a part of my life in the sense of the friendships i’ve made and people i talk to on occasion off the board.
I feel bad for some of the things people go through in their lives and may have no one else to talk to. Ofcourse then we have our troll threads too, so I always take everything with a punch of salt, though I should thank GS for making my detective and BS detecting skills much better.
And yes certain things definitely amuse me, maybe some that shouldn’t :o
Exactly. I value this place mostly because of the people I’ve made friends with. Can’t say I’ve really felt bad for nagging bahus of life1 but yeah .. that’s me
And I have always acknowledged your detective skills

partyslims:
I don’t get irritated that much, but do find surprising how some people derive pleasure from constantly putting down others. It just shows to me there must be something lacking in their lives.
I think we are all different and are all the same in certain aspects of what we show on GS. In real life, I can’t always make a witty remark using a meme on the spot now, can I?
I <3 food
How about some parathas and chai now? :o
If only you could make memes on the spot
And why want paratha and chai when you have an awesome dinner served :o
the very few that have had the privilege to know me outside this forum know that im very different in real life
i love the anonymity that comes with an online forum, one can talk about stuff w/o compromising their privacy, at the same time you know that on forum like this there will always be trolls and armchair/living room analysts and you shouldnt get upset by what they type up here. i dun let anyone get under my skin like that
i dun get upset or irritated by online nicks but i do like to keep them honest
Yeah that’s another aspect of it. Privacy.
I don’t think I’m that private around here. or maybe I am. There are just a few people that I know and talk to offline. I definitely wanna keep it that way.
and Hadeel Bhai, where are the drinks? I want some Bordeux wine with that
if you dun have that available, get some Kashmiri chai (yes the pink one, with a hint of salt)
At your service!

Muft khor. Answer the question

Yeah I get the point of closing a window and shutting out everything. BUT how close we are around here.. half of the friends we make turn into offline friends. And you really can’t shut yourself out then.

Re: Winter Conversations: Hadeels Hangout
Hi people!!
Here’s my very own thread for the Winter conversations and today we’re going to be discussing** You and Gupshup**!! =D
So tell me is GS a part of your life to a good extent? Do you get upset by the stuff you read on here? Do you get amused?
How many of you get irritated by people and their comments on here for real?
And most importantly.. are you different off GS or are you the same in real life?
Does diwana really like to argue till death? Is llxxll really this chirpy? Does Hakuna Matara really go balle balle hoye hoye after every 10 secs in real life? Do partyslims and khatti live ONLY because there is food on earth?
Let’s have some fun!!!
I have food for the party too
GS is a BIG part of my life. Been here for a decade now. And this place STILL has the potential to amuse me…
and I am a cunning individual here too.. conspiring against people, arrogant and mean. Just like in real life. no examples for you Hadeel.
Re: Winter Conversations: Hadeels Hangout
Oh it’s good that you’re pretty much the same.
I am more laid back and friendly in real life I think. I don’t really know how I come off as on here. But I think I am more talkative in real life and I get along almost with everyone in the offline world. Here.. not so much.
Oh and getting irritated.. I thought I was the only one. I get really peeved with some peoples ideas and just general nature even after I log out. I’m like.. Do these people REALLY exist?
you are talkative? par idhar toh bohot shy shy si lagti ho

it depends sometimes i bounce back real quick sometimes it takes time
how about giving me 50 percent of you “know the other person forever talent”?

Yeah well stop lying. I don’t think you’re cunning and arrogant or whatever.
Hehehe yeah I am VERY talkative. My friends and family have to ask me to stop talking at times.
Yeah you can have it. It makes it easy to have a conversation and not make them or yourself feel weird.
Ab kia ho ga?
