So tell me is GS a part of your life to a good extent? Do you get upset by the stuff you read on here? Do you get amused?
How many of you get irritated by people and their comments on here for real?
And most importantly.. are you different off GS or are you the same in real life?
Does diwana really like to argue till death? Is llxxll really this chirpy? Does Hakuna Matara really go balle balle hoye hoye after every 10 secs in real life? Do partyslims and khatti live ONLY because there is food on earth?
I would say that I’m pretty much the same on/off GS. I am generally a pretty go-with-the-flow type of gal…I don’t like all the doom-n-gloom generalizations, and I don’t live my life as strictly black and white..there is always a grey area.
I do get irritated by some of the stuff that is said on these forums, who wouldn’t? I think what amazes me is that there actually all people out there for whom these threads are real life. :hinna:
I am more laid back and friendly in real life I think. I don’t really know how I come off as on here. But I think I am more talkative in real life and I get along almost with everyone in the offline world. Here.. not so much.
Oh and getting irritated.. I thought I was the only one. I get really peeved with some peoples ideas and just general nature even after I log out. I’m like.. Do these people REALLY exist?
GS has def become a part of my life in the sense of the friendships i’ve made and people i talk to on occasion off the board.
I feel bad for some of the things people go through in their lives and may have no one else to talk to. Ofcourse then we have our troll threads too, so I always take everything with a punch of salt, though I should thank GS for making my detective and BS detecting skills much better.
And yes certain things definitely amuse me, maybe some that shouldn’t :o
I don’t get irritated that much, but do find surprising how some people derive pleasure from constantly putting down others. It just shows to me there must be something lacking in their lives.
I think we are all different and are all the same in certain aspects of what we show on GS. In real life, I can’t always make a witty remark using a meme on the spot now, can I?
the very few that have had the privilege to know me outside this forum know that im very different in real life
i love the anonymity that comes with an online forum, one can talk about stuff w/o compromising their privacy, at the same time you know that on forum like this there will always be trolls and armchair/living room analysts and you shouldnt get upset by what they type up here. i dun let anyone get under my skin like that
