Yeah he got beat. I dunno what's happened to nadal, he was injured last year and since he's been back he just hasn't regained his form. I mean, 10th in the rankings? And look at fedex, he's 2nd. This is why I consider fedex to be the best tennis player ever. He lost his form, maybe got tired of tennis. Maybe age had something to do with it but he fought through his personal mental desires to give up and he's playing as good as he ever was right now. I think he will win wimbledon.

Serena Williams beat Spain’s Garbine Muguruza to win Wimbledon for the sixth time and complete the ‘Serena Slam’ as the holder of all four major titles.

Overall this was her 21st grand slam title. She is now only one behind Steffi Graf’s record 22 titles. Margaret Court won 24 grand slam titles but that was before the Open era.

Hope Federer can find his best form tomorrow but it is not going to be easy against World no. 1 Djokovic. Federer (33) is getting older now and he might not get another chance to create history by winning a record 8th Wimbledon title. He is currently level with Sampras on 7.

At 33 years and 289 days, Serena surpasses Martina Navratilova as the oldest player to win Wimbledon, and any of the other three Grand Slams, in the Open era.

Don't think Federer is going to win another Wimbledon title. Djokovic is just too strong both mentally and physically. This was his 9th grand-slam title. 15 of the last 20 grand-slam finals have featured Djokovic

Double success for Martina Hingis. She and Sania Mirza won the women's doubles. She and Leander Paes won the mixed doubles final as well.
