Fantastic1: you should for sure discuss it with your parents and arrange a meeting to find out more or talk to him over phone. There is more to marriage than physical appearance like everyone else had said. So many more things to balance after marriage than balancing ones self on heels ;) Plus in arranged marriages there is no love, it develops later as time goes by. You must look into it further. I'm a giraffe. and I have the best husband on the planet (sorry gals). I'm about 3-4 inches taller. Thats the very last thing I ever notice about him though. I wont go on too much about his physical beauty (I'm not typically an "ogler" but I still enjoy "ogling" him!) but really what matters is the wonderful person he is. So what, I dont wear heels (actually thats a blessing in disguise lol) no matter, it doesnt change how lucky I am to have him!

maan you reminded me of a really hilarious story i will try to give a good picture here..
My cousin is mashallah 5’10, slim, pretty, big eyes. My aunty was lookin for her rishta anywayz she was sitting down with her mother on one of the tables at the shadi [of another relative]. This potential guy approached [they knew they were going to meet]. Guy sat down after saying hello my cousin got so upset brcause the guy was barely 5’4]. Nice doctor from Georgia and what not. He spoke with my aunty for few mins and then when he was leaving. As he got up my cousin did the same thing :D.. he was finished hafl way through and my cousin kept on going 
maan tom and jerry ka haal lag raha tha - poor guy he looked up in the air as if he was looking at a kite lol.
Thank goodness aunty found a 6ft man for her lol and they look good together.
This other cousin she is about 5’3 and her husband is about 5’1 difference is obvious. Bhai even wore heel waley boats lol on his shadi- camera maan ne kia shots le hain un ke pao ki its hilarious. it worked out fine for them as well..
my chacha ji bechare is about 5’2 and chachi ji is 5’7 - dadi ami ko kaha tha choti se larki doondana but living happily today
fanta difference of 1 or 2 inches still looks okay i guess.
I personally don’t think i can do that. par jo kismat mein hota hai woh to hota hi hai na :~) - because mein kud hi choti si hon

I used to think I wouldn't mind (I have liked a shorter dude in the past), lekin after the amount of bakwas I have heard cause of my height, now I do mind. He has to be at least the same height as me (5'9") without heels.
Let me just add, that in the past, I have been rejected by potential mothers cause of my height even though I have had no problem with their chotay sons. It seems to be intimidating, at least for some mothers and their sons. :D

Mehnaz thats funny cos we have often had ladies trying to convince my mum that height isn;t even a deal, tau kya huwa agar thora sa farq hei, patta bhi nahi chalta.

Femme, I once had a woman phone me directly at work. She completely skipped over the part of talking to my mother first. She phoned me and went on and on about height and how I need to consider her son even though he was 2 inches shorter than me. I said "o.k.", but she wouldn't shut up for a good 20 minutes. The conversation was just me going "ahaan" and listening to her yap. It went from her convincing me to give her son a chance to how she wears a hijab cause she's bald.
Don't ask.
