if someone invites to church to listen to their sermons will you go there

Would I go to church to listen to a sermon? You bet! I have been to church for a Sunday worship.
If I believe that my religion has something to offer and if I want someone to come to visit a mosque to learn about Islam then why would I not do the same for them? Why would I not go to a church and listen to a sermon and leave there having learned something good?
Have any of you been to a church and listened to a sermon?
If yes, can you honestly say that you did not hear one thing that was valuable? Even if it was the speaker telling you to be neighbourly or telling you not to sin. Can you say that you could not be a better person by adopting some good advice given by that person?
Really folks.....
We have so many good things that we haven't learned from our prophet (p.b.u.h.) yet and and we are not evenn giving time to listen to other lectures and I will go to sermons to gain something good.No
But as far as preaching is concerned and if I am an alim then I'll think about going there.

Look mister interfaith dialouge is different then going to regular sermons, and I cannot hear against any nabi either it is Hazrat Issa, And I am not a preacher so I don’t need to go there.
Thanks for sarcasm instead I have little bit faith left ke mein buraii ko buraii to samjhti hoon good for you if u are a good muslim and you are making a difference by going ot sermons.

i have gone to churches on a number of occassions, often I was asked to later meet with church members who sometimes had questions about islam, pakistan, saudi arabia, UK etc etc. I would answer as much as I knew, usually they were basic questions though.
even now if asked, I would go, more from an interaction and understanding perspective, not as some sort of step towards being saved :)

I have been to the church few times, just out of curiosity, with my christian friends back in Pakistan, all my education in Pakistan was in Church managed schools and colleges, so I am familiar with the environment
As Muzna said, there is no harm, and its definetely not haram, if looked at from the educational and informational perspective.

ok. a simple question. why open such a thread then? when you have already made your mind and not open to others' opinions? to tell people they don't have any faith left in them? and you are the holier than all other people here?

and no one is going to regular sermons. see your first post again (if someone invites).

I've been to catholic schools from 1st grade to my Bachelors. I have attended numerous church sessions and sermons. They talk about a lot of what we learn in our religion with one basic difference which is the nabuwwat of rasoolAllah (saw). However, the discipline in churches and the ettiquettes is simply amazing. Maybe that's why I am as disciplined at the masjid as well :D
But really, I think unless I am sincerely invited I may not go just for the heck of it. But as a courtesy, yeah sure. No harm.

yes definitly wats so bad about it? its interesting to learn about different religions IMO and i've always been fascinated by catholic churches and japanese temples and the way they pray and i dont think that u really have to agree with them or start following other religion its jst for ur own interest. and i also dont think that going to a church or worship place of other religions gonna make u lose ur faith or weaken it in any way
Who told you I think I am hollier than thou, I am a great sinner. so you can send me anywhere at the end its ALLAH who will decide who si going where.
I opened a thread because its for general discussion and not attacking others. And not necessary every thread is about me 
Every one is answering what they think is right and I didn’t say I have a problem with that.

I would, nothing wrong in listening and learning a different point of view or exchange an idea. If they wish , invite them also. This clears up many doubts and misconceptions. But don't go there for preaching purpose.
(Many non-muslims attend Masjid and they sit there listen /observe)
