First of all She needs to seek forgiveness of Allah. She can get through this life for next 60 years or so what will she do after that?
Confront Allah tala first and i am sure it will be easier for her to talk to her mom afterwards. She must make sure there is a "parda" between her and her father. Thats the beauty of our culture.

Its freakin unbelievable how many times the excuse "times have changed" is used to justify so many things :)
Anyway - totally agree and support Afia. Most people need to be more educated about Religion and need to know the effects of Media (porn being one) on an individual and society.

Apparently many thought that 6/7 year old kids are mature enough to have sex education. A bit disturbing

- watching porn is no big deal
- the parents r not perfect themselves and shud not be mad at their kids for doing such things
- as per PCG's post, most desi girls r involved in adultery (is that common in USA or just in the place PCG lives?)
- dads of some guppies have porn in their PC/garage
