This is mind boggling, if true. She asked for India for military attacks on Pakistan to put pressure on military?? Can any one shed some light and provide if this letter is authentic or fake??

It was under Benazir's government that these " fanatic beasts" grew in power. You portray Benazir, like as if she was/is the only one who wanted to fight these Tribal Terrorists. I assure you that there are many more worthy politicians that want to fight these tribal terrorists. Worthy politicians who will fight these terrorists, and not steal money from Pakistan. Worthy politicians who would fight these terrorists, but not make the country into a prostitue of the world.
Furthermore, you should be ashamed of yourself for knowing that she was corrupt, and still speaking in favour of her. How can you speak in favour of someone who stole up to an estimated amount of $1.5 billion? How, explain this to me? Why? Because you grew up watching her, and fell in love with her celeberity status?
She didn't have the guts and the balls to face her corruption charges, when she fled with her tail between her legs. She didn't have the guts to come to Pakistan, until her corruption charges were withdrawn. If a person does not have the guts to face corruption charges, how can they have the guts to fight terrorism?

Now I don't have the will to go on google and verify the exact dates and sums of money but let me assure you that the accusations of corruption are not fictional creations that people have created to defame her character posthumously.

You know what else is propoganda, that the IMF, and the World Bank said that the poverty level increased during her terms as Prime Minister.

I would have thought that a smart mind as hers would have made a phone call rather than writing a letter and leaving a trace.
I am not a BB or PPP fan at all infact i have hated them most of my life. As far as corruption is concerned who in our politics isnt ?
Any discussion on this forum or on any forum is not gonna be conclusive but millions followed her and loved her which we should respect. May be we can adopt a milder tone.

Islamabad November 14, 2007: Pakistan Peoples Party has denounced the smear campaign of character assassination through newspaper adverts today against the Party Chairperson Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto as “dying kicks of the Jehadi remnants of Zia era”.
In a statement today spokesperson for the Chairperson PPP former Senator Farhatullah Babar said that the letter alleged to have been written by Mohtarma Bhutto was forged in 1990 by elements in agencies. The forgery behind it has been exposed from the following, he said.
Mohtarma Bhutto has never used letterheads titled “Mrs. Benazir Bhutto”.
The name was deliberately misspelled as GAILBRAITH in the letter to evade legal action just in case Mr Peter Galbraith challenged it.
In September 1990, the date of the forged letter, the purported addressee Peter Galbraith was a senior advisor to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee (1979 to 1993) and not in the NDI as stated in the forged letter.
The letter is full of grotesque grammatical mistakes that are unimaginable from the office of Chairperson PPP.
The publication of a forged letter after nearly two decades shows how the moving finger that has engineered elections in the past is at it again, he said.
These elements had also cobbled together an anti PPP alliance IJI using money stolen from the banks, he recalled.
He said that it was curious that the ad was printed even though, contrary to the normal practice, the name of the advertising company that designed the advert was not mentioned.
Senator Farhatullah Babar said that the Party had credible information that the secret hands behind the campaign financed the advert from the public funds at the disposal of Information Ministry and paid at commercial rates.
“The dirty brigade playing dirty tricks at public expense must be punished; they will be”
The Party has decided to take legal action against all those involved in planning, executing and financing this smear campaign, he said.

She was corrupt and a traitor of times, there is not much doubt about it.. Her mother Begum Nusrat Bhutto publicaly announced that she will allow KRL and nuclear program for UN and other agencies inspections, would no other would have allowed, secondly, it was in BB time when she claimed that nuclear program will be rolled back.
Then one needs to dig up the old news papers of her times from libraries in Pakistan , in just to know what exactly was happening during her term, specially the Mr. Ten percent activities.
It was pretty evident at times, as if she is taking revenge of her father's death.
On the second hand, our military is a bigger culprit, but their corruption is well hidden. military was engaged in drug deals to illegal arm deals to anything in the past many years. No wonder our generals are richest in the world.
So we cannot brag that only she was the ONLY corrupt or traitor.
Thirdly, yes, now the matter is with ALLA S.W.T and between her. We can only pray that ALLAH give us better, sincere leadership and politicians. Lets also pray that Bilawel , when he comes to pwer at any stage, does not follow the legacy in these regards,
