You obviously have not read the history. This unfortunate event involves Native Benalis, Pakistan and India/Bharat as contributing parties. Indians involvement has lot more than just responding to one event in December.
What would have been the benefit of bombing India....seems illogical for Pakistan to incite a malicious neighbor into the conflict.

If you think this was the reason India/Bharat got involved in the conflict then either you are very naive person (does not seem to be the case) or acting too smart in trying to fool people.

The title gives false impression and thats the problem with this thread.

DW, Indians were involved in the Bangla insurgency just like Iran and Syria are stoking Iraqi insurgency. Indians should read the frank statements by none other than Manekshaw.

Pakistan too is not a saint in the region. We have funded and supported insurgencies in Kashmir, Punjab, and Afghanistan.

Coming back to the topic, no Pakistani general could be accused of massacres or genocide. There was no proof, otherwise Indira Ghandi would have been more than happy to set up trials.

Remember that India held as POWs, some 40,000 Pak army and 50,000 West Pakistani officials. If any one of them had even small hand in genocide, he should (or would) have been tried by India.

This thread was started just to malign Pakistan for something that happened long time ago. As if defeating Pakistan militarily was not enough, that Indians and Awami leaguers are now trying to defeat Pakistani nation psychologically.

this is why i told you that you all r sick....read Justice Hamoodur-Rehaman commission report where he had made a number of military officers responsible for genocide. As regard Indra Gandhi taking action against paki army, she humiliated 95000 Pakistani cowards and made them POWs, humiliating them for rest of their lives. It was responsibility of Paki government to tender unconditional apology and taken to task rapists, murderers, destroyers of infrastructures and humiliating all Muslims of the world.and as there is no proof i can tell you that many unfortunate people r searching for justice who were afflicted in '71

Nobody is perfect and pious in this world.Everybody has their own deep vested inetrests , that can serve themselves.

She was bubbling with love and passion for Bengalis in East Pakistan in 1971 , but then she simply prefer to forget the same principle in East Punjab in 1984.

I still don't agree for the trial of Pakistan Army, yes The Generals took part and played it all wrong ( to the extend that we lost our eastern wing) should have been disgraced and prosecuted accordingly.
