And modi one thing for sure is gaining popularity among the young generation which is totally against nehuruvian and congress lies.
Add to that a very important factor that many are not paying serious attention to.
Many many Hindus are VERY fed up with how we are and have been treated almost across all of India. We have no problem giving some special treatment to minorities but when such special treatment cannot extend to insulting Hindus. In spite of being one of the, if not the, most tolerant religion in the world, we are being insulted more and more in the name of aiding muslims. Reservations have gotten out of hand, pandering in all other aspects has gotten out of hand, our religious institutions are being taken over by atheists and our Gods and traditions are being insulted. WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH.
The youngsters are simply taking their country back. They are smart people who do not have the servile attitude of the previous generations of Indian Hindus. Their goal in life is not to please a british viceroy or a moghul king ...they are the kings and owners of India.
The silly goats of the old establishment, whether in Congress or BJP or DMK have just had one small taste of what will happen when they go too far, in the recent Sri Rama Setu affront.
You may recall the bold stand Modi took - he said he will conduct the research to prove Sri Rama Setu if the TN government led by the atheist fraud karunanidhi and the cowardly prime minister manmohan singh do not have the integrity to do the right thing.
Ofcourse Modi wins.

Well this election wasnt of hindu or hindutva .it was all about the leader who can deliever wat he says --in terms of developement interms of internal security and prosperity of of its people.thats the main reason that young people/middle class turned out en-mass
to vote in this election,which never ever happened in india.secondly ispite of being dragged by media and opponents congress and rebles and media he never went on to the hindutva plank in this election and all that negative propaganda worked in his favour coz today ppl can see wat is wrong or right as reza in other thread truly said that he may be projected as the future indian pm.its obvious that central bjp leadership has been one way or other feeling heat of modi's growing popularity not even in gujarat but his acceptance outside gujarat,which is evident from the fact that bjp has projected advani as its primeministerial candidate even though lokshabha elections r not in horizon till 2009.come jan-feb and see bjp repeating gujrat in karnataka and himachal pradesh on nationalism plank.

^ oh I agree. I don't think he campaigned on any specific Hindutva platform. I was merely pointing out why the fools yelling "Hindu brutality" without any common sense or truth could not muster the votes to defeat Modi.
I have read empty boasts from congress leaders that they'd get at least 92 seats. They got 62! Sonia spent so much of her capital in campaigning against Modi. Now the state congress lotas are struggling find ways they can deflect the blame for defeat away from her.
Throughout my life I have never supported one party or opposed another. This congress govet's ineptitude in 90% of their dealings has accomplished that.
