how come pakistani and indian open grocery stores near each other
even in remote parts of the world?
Having same grocery stores does not make us one!
You guys worship cow, we eat it! Are we one! I am sorry our eating of the cow offends you, but its very much allowed in our religion! Are we one? We have different festivals ) Eid etc, Are we one? We read and write different languages (Hindi - Urdu) Are we one? We go for pilgrimage to Makkah, worship one God, you don't! Are we One?
it is cruelty of the individual rulers . akabr was never considered as
cruel. you always hear akabr restaraunt never aurangazep or taimur
restaraunts.

Yes we do have Aurangzeb restaurant etc. And Aurangzeb name is highly revered. He was a great ruler! One of the best! May Allah be pleased with him.
He wrote on Islamic jurispudance, which is used in our legal issues in Pakistan!
............. the largest gathering in the world is the kumbh mela on the banks of ganga at prayag in india. it takes place every 12 years. whatever. what do u want to prove by pointing towards haj? that all hajis r muslims? that everyone agrees. or r they also given a passport of the islamic nation?
and stop that talk of one islamic nation and all. .....
Hey Mister.
Yes Hajj is special and unique. It only has Muslims. What makes you think it has non-Muslims? Kumbh mela has no comparison with it. Kumbh has only people who are basically Indian. Hajj is an international gathering comprising people from all parts of the world. I have seen it myself! Passport being American or British makes no difference. I have an American passport. That makes me American as an identification only! I belong to the Islamic nation!!! (Its hard for you to digest this!, since you Indians have no experience of meeting Hindus from other nationalities- since there are none and Hinduism is dominant in India only).
You cannot command me ("....stop that talk of one islamic nation and all..."). You need a bigger thinking to understand this. Yes we are one nation. Some ignorant people do not understand this whom you are talking about. Their saying this does not nullify this reality.

well said :k: that was my point. I too respect Islam and not only Islam, all the faiths , as they make human a human being. But I hate people those who misinterpret the religion and use it for their own benefit.
Well I believe we agree on something and this discussion ends here.
may be because of pakistan uses islam as weapon against india
it actiually makes people become hostile islam . may be pakistan is not islam and islam is not pakistan.
Not maybe! I am quite sure Pakistan isn't truly Islamic. Its slowly going towards Islam. Yes there are extremists who use Islam as weapon for their personal goals and there are some in Pakistan too, like in India.
In case of Kashmir, its not extremism, its an unfinished business of partition which has to be solved according the wishes of the Kashmiri people. Otherwise we don't have any problem (India & Pakistan). We can live together in peace and give our deprived people a better standard of living. We must admit there are extremists on both sides.
Well, the discussion ends here. May God guide you and me, and show the right path to whoever is wrong! Last but not the least, Ummah stuff is not invented by me. It is in the Quran. I am only saying what God told us Muslims.
And verily this Ummah of yours is One Ummah and I am your Lord and Cherisher: therefore fear Me (and no other). (23:52)

Need more?
We are a separate nation!

Fraudia, you have partly succeeded in what must be intentional obfiscation of the purpose of this thread which is neither to establish the prigin and ethnicity of your heroes nor to shine the strobe on the comedic talent you have cosen to exhibit.
Getting back to the original question, which is it? Is Ghazni and similar ilk your hero or not? If they are you are obviously in support of the mosque smahers gang. If not, admit it and be done with it.

the answer was given, if you were unable to understand or unwilling to understand that does not amount to intentional obfiscation of the topic.
points made was very simple,
1) they were warriors, and where as what they did regarding ** destruction of temples was something I am completely against,** i suppose the reason they were chosen was because they link up to warrior names. just as crusader missle system used by US. One can make a case that crusaders brought death and destruction to many and thus naming a weapons program of that name is glorifying that?
2) you can look at mascot names of schools and even military groups, and say they are glorifying devil :) which is obviously not the case
or should we start naming them for divine figures?
I mean indian missiles are named agni and what not, are they thus linking these weapons to divine figures? is'nt that a bit strange also.
Its all a name..change it from ghaznavi to alexander or Akbar, the missile is still a missile. I can call it a "hanf of friendship" if you like but thats not going to changethe nature of what it does.
Naming weapons after events or characters of questionable actions is just as strange as naming weapons after divine figures in my view.

it is common sense if you attack somebody's holy place it is like attacking your own holy place.
