Humayun Saeed sm'd me last night that the serial rescheduled from next Sunday-28th Oct. He said I am being missed for the WILCO show PTV is organising at Islamabad with all the cast members.
Cant help it...but I am sad that I'll miss it.

also what is happening with humayun saeeds film whats he producing, i have been hearing about it since 2 years but looks like it still hasnt started, same thing with saqib maliks film, any news.

I think that the m ovie he announced--is still in the writing. GULZAR Sb., at India is penning it. Probably Javed Fazil will direct it..but sometime the second half of next year at Mumbai, Banglore, Chennai, Ooty, Shimla and Karachi.
Meanwhile, we are almost through with the one liners of Humayun's serial we are recording in America from mid-Feb'08 and so far the following cast has been finalized;
Humayun himself, Adnan Siddiqui, Hiten Tejwani, Gauri Pratham (KARAN and wife. of Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Theeh..and also real hubby n wife), Vinny, Tooba Siddiqui (Koi Tow Baarish fame), Jehanara Hai, Yours faithfully, Saadia Imam, Sajid Syed and Atiqa Odho.
It a very powerful story of a family settled in USA and UAE.....hence about 110 scenes are to be recorded in Dubai, Abudhabi, Alain, Khorfakkhan and Hatta also..on the way back from States by March'08 end.....
The story is by Noorul Huda Shah...and probably Ahson Taalish or Marina Khan will direct it.
In States, we go to New York, Washington, Houston, Dallas, Chicago, Tampa-Florida, LA, Frisco and if Humayun gets it in his head--that I am insisting----HONOLOLU, Hawai....also!! :)

Tell that to the 'audience or viewers or advertisers'....as simple as that!!
I would still LOVE to act with them....as they are relatively more understanding and know their job....

Watched the first episode today.
So far no good.
Must say it will take a lot of thrust to compete in this arena since Shoaib Mansoor is the gauge. Harder yet will be to appeal to and please military enthusiasts.
Big castes, multi million budgets and sponsors just don't count in this category.

i saw the play today too didnt like it much acting isnt good by the new actors ...i cant help comparing it to alpha bravo charlie where the actors were natural wasnt atttracted or impressed by this play

^Exactly what I felt stylo!
Not only was the acting a bit dry as compared to the nonactors in ABC, the stars in Wilco like Humayun and Imran Abbas have so far delivered ion their typical style tat they act in every role, no changes for a a diff role!
