Wifey Driving

My wife’s been driving for 5 years and she is a good driver.

But whenever we go together, i always drive. I just don’t feel comfortable if i am not behind the wheel.

Re: Wifey Driving

ma maH has been driving for long and she is such a safe driver . Bet insurance guys would insure her for free but when ever I go there , me drives and she sits !

well don’t know why but if I aint driving , I cant sit on front driver seat , am too fussy !

is something wrong with me doc ?

Re: Wifey Driving

Aww, that's not right though. What if she doesn't feel comfortable with you behind the wheel since she is so good at driving "her' way :)
My hubby is like you, he doesn't feel comfy with me driving cuz either I drive too slow for him, or is afraid im gonna hit something. Khair, funny thing is I can't be in the front passenger seat when he is driving, i feel on edge cuz he drives too fast...hehe.

Re: Wifey Driving

When we are going on long journeys, he drives but when we are going on short drives, i drive. He wants me to be the chauffeur on the weekends cuz he drives 2hrs a day and its pretty tiring...

I also drive sometimes at 1-2am in the morning when both of us are half asleep and want to get a burger...its amazing how much trust he has in me at that time in the morning...:roman

Re: Wifey Driving

same here, when I go out with my mom or dad - I drive. They should sit n enjoy my driving :roman:

Re: Wifey Driving

i think nowadays it goes d same for both hubby n wifey... majority prefer to b in d driver's seat as they hav their own way of driving..

Re: Wifey Driving

Thats the way my husband is too...if I do drive he is always like look out here and that...makes me sooo nervous and everytime I do end up making a mistake....or is it that he nazar lagaaying:D

Re: Wifey Driving

Are you sure you used the right word there? :hmmm:

Icon when we are going somewhere, I am the one who drives…but not because I am scared, but because she wants me to. I LOVE to drive and driving is my passion but I still sometimes I offer her to drive but she insists that I drive. To me that’s like naiki aur pooch pooch? I am always ready to drive at any time for any duration of time

Re: Wifey Driving

Usually he drives when we are going out together but sometimes i do. If we go on trips, we take turns so he doesnt have to sit and drive for a longer period of time.

I tell my husband i love being married : one of the reasons is taht i dont have to worry about parking spots or remember where i parked anymore.

Re: Wifey Driving

Thats because women cannot drive.

Re: Wifey Driving

Off topic, but the other day some STUPID #*#($#$ WOMAN in her SUV changed her land and came in front of me on the highway and missed the front of my car by a couple of inches.

Today, I am driving on the highway and I am in the right lane. This big SUV is in the middle lane. The exit comes. SUV changes lane to exit and comes right in front of me. I pushed the brake pedal and jammed the tires and at the same time honked for about 10 seconds (it's a LONG time in south). My car skidded and the stuff on my front seat fell on the floor. My blood pressure went up the roof. Did that SUV do anything or try to get back in its lane? NO! Had I not braked and skidded the car, her rear would've hit my front and I would've been sided by her. I sped up to see who the ((#(#$+## moron was in that SUV and it was and OLD LADY!!!!

Sorry for getting off topic here.

Re: Wifey Driving

It may all be becuz u live in red neck country:cb:

Re: Wifey Driving

I don’t know, but it’s really pissing me off these days that these old people, who should be in nursing homes or their own homes, are driving and becoming a road hazard day by day. Not only that lady, another old man also did the exact same thing after a few minutes (he didn’t take the exit but just changed lane).
