I am a Choudhry born and raised in the U.S and she is a Syed born in Pakistan and raised in the U.K. She’s afraid to tell her parents about me because they look at people’s castes. Is a Choudhry as high as a Syed when it comes to this?

You can marry absolutely anyone that is Muslim. Don’t take the caste system overly serious! This is from the Hindus and has nothing to do with Islam. I usually compare it to a disease, the process about marriage and caste being a major player. I have no problems with culture.

Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood.
