Psyah, your family and wife does not have a SINGLE activity that they like equally? hmmmmm how about backyard BBQ? is your father handy when it comes to small house projects? Your wife loves home projects (as far as I know) and if he is into it too, they both can work on something…

My FIL is a quiet person and when he was visiting us last time (for couple of months,) I felt that he was feeling a bit bore in 2nd half of their stay but he is into house projects and love using tools etc. I stated and got him involved in 2-3 small projects and he was so happy and busy. A time came when he used to wake me up early on sunday to resume work :smack:

Similerly my wife and parents both have different views about enjoying time. My parents are more into enjoying time with relatives etc, so the more people the best while wife view was that most of the fun time should be with close family only (namely us + parents) and over time they both have adjusted their views to accommodate other’s and hence now we have little of both type of activities.

Not everyone lives on the forums entire day to know who is married to whom.

Anyways, I have been called boring too by certain people, and the thing is that I found those people boring too. It is just a matter of personal preferences. The way psyah described his family, to me they don’t sound boring. They just have other things on their mind right now. But I am an outsider, so who am I to say anything.
