To girls do you feel it is ok for a guy to hit you if you hit him?..
Cos the thing is i swear only a man officially can be physically abusive to their missus yet on plenty of occasions iv seen women push that line…probably cos they can and sometimes they just think they wont get hit back…
Thing is eventually they will hit back and when they do do you honestly wonder why?..
Iv never been in a situation where i have been furious to physically retaliate…the closest iv come is to physically stop a girl from hitting me…but even at that point i did think to myself she deserves a slap…thing is though invariably she wouldnt get into any trouble…i would have…
Btw im not suggesting that wife beaters dont exist and that there arent men who are unneccesarily abusive…im just suggesting that sometimes there is more to a story…
Is it fair enough to say that if you hit your man you have no right to whine if you get hit back…and if you dont hit your man then he has no right to put his hands on you…if you expect him to maintain a certain boundary isnt it fair that women do the same…
I would never hit a man in anger. For those women that do, I think men should use self-defense but not retaliate by hitting her back. That's something children do. Plus, men are a lot stronger than women, its not difficult for them to restrain a woman from hitting them. Restrain and clear the scene until she has calmed down is my view.
I wonder if there is so much stigma against a man hitting a woman (and rightly so) because men are trained from a very young age that they "shouldn't hit girls." Women really aren't taught the same thing (at least I wasn't?). Maybe its because people think a woman probably won't do much damage to a man, but a man can certainly damage a woman? Skewed thinking, I know, but its a thought.
As someone who has been in an abusive relationship, I only ask for you guys to have some sensitivity toward the issue. It certainly is no joke. Thanks.
1- it should not be done in front of the children
2- do not hit on the face or sensitive areas
3- beating should leave no bruising
4- there should be no bleeding as a result of beating
if you do not follow the above rules you will be answerable to Allah on the day of judgement.
