Why do ppl feel the need to joke around and hurt others ? I know many ppl who like to “joke around” and stuff, and in th eprocess, they hurt another’s feelings.. its not ignorance but rather they dont care and do it on purpose..they know VERY WELL the effect their words can have on others, but they’just don’t giv a damn.. they jsut say “oh well ur too sensitive” or, change the thing that others bug you about and they wont bug u anymore 
I have one person like that and I am ready to cut her out , but i cant xactly do that wiht other ppl in my life who are like that.. (generally speaking) Noone gives a damn about my feelings and i’m starting to not give a sh*t about anyone elses..

seriously...ive been living it with all my life...tehy just dont understand how it impacts a person's life...mentally/emotionally and physically...
a person's self-esteem and confidence can make a huge difference in anything: studies, job, relationships...in a positive way (obviously over confidence has its downfalls) unconfidence can also lead to being afraid all that someone will constantly put u down and say ur stupid etc. And what did everyone else get from making fun of you?!...it hurts and they dont understand..jokes and laughs are fun when they actually dont affect someone else...what do other ppl get...
its not even ignorance...its arrogant ppl....ppl who just think that they are all that...
and in the end...when i get mad....i end up losing my temper--and i become the bad one right?...it sux
in the end...the way ppl think about you can vastly change a person's life in so many ways...
and i completely agree...if they dont care about me...then get the **** away from me...and i dont give a sh!t about other ppl...
ppl are so complicated...and they make ur life complicated too....

arrogant people must try to be more modest…as it is islamically immoral to be arrogant 
and the people who lack self esteem must work hard on their ego to be self confident;)

I told my mom people dont care about our feelings, why should we care about theM? and she said that its not right coz Allah will look at how YOU treated others not how they treated you.. At times you have to be assertive, be it with friends or people who are close to you and not come across as a person who is a pushover and you never know people will begin to respect you for that.

usually people try to hurt you if they’re jealous of you…especially girls…ive noticed this too…there is one annoying girl in my uni who would do anything to see me upset…she’ll grab any opportunity to make me feel bad. i just ignore her why should i let it affect me…instead i act like it didnt upset me at all…and it probably just makes her feel even bad about herself.

I have a few colleagues who had similar attitudes and when i started doing the same to them, they requested me not to humiliate them any further and they won’t joke with me any more. These people think that they are so witty, u have to push them a little to make them realize.
