Why would God...

Re: Why would God...

Peace philosophy

I re-read your post to see if I have misunderstood it ... To me it appears as though you are saying we 'judge' God be Good in the same way we question God's wisdom when things don't go right ... or that if things go right for us (i.e. selfishly) we say God is good ...

This is not the way of Muslims ... At least this is not the way Muslims should be with God.

We should take about God from the scriptures ... And then reflect on the verses ...

Re: Why would God...

Peace sharaabee

You are making a huge assumption ... The assumption being that you will be able to seek help on that day ...

Are you really that sure of the Mercy of God? If so, then why do you hamper on about the threats all the time?

It seems you are more rebellious about the threats and you are talking about His Mercy without any shame ... That you will seek it at the end ... Do you really fear the threats? do you really expect so much Mercy?

Iblis sealed his fate ... By rebelling against Allah (SWT) it was only his own ego/pride that got in the way ... Iblis was the one who was the best worshipper, leader of the angels ... Do you think he will ask for Mercy and get it on that Day?

As long as you have faith in Him and believe in Muhammad (SAW) as the best of people and last and final messenger then you do what you do .... Allah(SWT)'s Mercy is there for you ... InshaAllah ..

Re: Why would God...

you.have.got.to.be.kidding.me

kabi he is merciful, kabi he isnt. LOLLLL.

Re: Why would God...

Nope... the ones organized religions have.

Re: Why would God...

Peace sharaabee,

Which religion?

Re: Why would God...

All

Re: Why would God...

State the rules you see issues with and the religion each rule comes from. Then, we can understand your point and perhaps study them to see ourselves if it makes or does not make sense.

Re: Why would God...

No one is saying that he is "sometimes" merciful and "sometime" not. Belief in the attributes of Allah dictates that His attributes are simultanously present in Him with their absolute and complete meaning and effects. He is not like us who are not happy when angry. Although there is a hadith that tells us that on He has wrriten on His throne that His mercy exceeds His wrath.

Re: Why would God...
