Why why why? Why the Hijab?

Nancy Grace, Paula Zahn and co. have been going nuts over why Jill Carroll has still been wearing a Hijab…

They have been pouring in ‘experts’ left and right to somehow figure out why she has not taken of the Hijab and the justifications have been from the Stockholm Syndrome to Selective Post Traumatic Stress Disorder…

They won’t be happy until JC strips to her undies…Then they’ll breathe a sigh of relief…:omg:

Re: Why why why? Why the Hijab?

Who's Jill Carroll?

Re: Why why why? Why the Hijab?

Jill Carroll is the freelancer who was abducted in Iraq and kept for 3 months…

She was just released a day before yesterday…

Re: Why why why? Why the Hijab?

she looks cute in Hijab.

Re: Why why why? Why the Hijab?

She is a pretty cute looking woman...

Re: Why why why? Why the Hijab?

Allah guides whom he wills.

Re: Why why why? Why the Hijab?

She is being held in the green zone in Iraq and has been denied permission to meet her parents immediately...

Although she's been described as being in high and good spirits, they will keep her for a while for 'psychological evaluation'...

Re: Why why why? Why the Hijab?

until she gives it up.... those darn Sunnis must have bugged that hijab thing!

Re: Why why why? Why the Hijab?

She is wearing hijaab so that no one kidnaps her again and she has to undergo the trauma all over again. Now she can be mistaken for an Arab

Re: Why why why? Why the Hijab?

Even under guard inside the green zone while meeting Zalilzaat the US ambassador?

Talk about a brainwash…With bleach…

Re: Why why why? Why the Hijab?

perhaps they superglued it to her head

Re: Why why why? Why the Hijab?

Guess what…She is given limited press time to talk about her ordeal and most of it is being filtered because ‘Jill is in a fragile state mind’ and is not capable of forming her own opinions, so the US Army is filtering what needs to be said…

Here’s what she had to say:

In the video, the journalist calls on President Bush to send American troops home.
“He knows this war was wrong,” she said. “He knows it was illegal from the very beginning. He knows that it was built on a mountain of lies. I think he needs to finally admit to the American people and make the troops go home.”
She said that “terrible things are happening” to the women in Abu Ghraib prison, but that the mujahedeen were different from the Americans.
“The mujahedeen are merciful and kind,” she said. “That’s why I am free and alive.”

Something tells me, this once poster child of the outpouring of love and devotion will soon either be silenced or bear the brunt of a lot of propaganadized hate because of her views…

This lady, whom America mad ethe emblem of all that is good is soon to be labelled a traitor…

LD: Phunny…

Re: Why why why? Why the Hijab?

There you go...Just as I post the above post, this pops up...

Just listen to some of the remarks on the popular Imus show...

*After yesterday's Podhoretz comment that Carroll may be a latter-day Patty Hearst, Podhoretz's little acolyte (and the LA Times' newest columnist) Jonah Goldberg is "getting a very bad vibe" by Carroll: "MAYBE IT’S JUST ME... But Jill Carroll is increasingly starting to bug me... But it would be nice to hear her say something remotely critical of her captors..."

Morning frat-jock Don Imus's producer Bernard McGuirk said that "She may be carrying Habib's baby," and that "She strikes me as the kind of woman who would wear one of those suicide vests. You know, walk into the — try and sneak into the Green Zone."*

Re: Why why why? Why the Hijab?

why are you blowing your load over this girl as if she is like some ultimate testament to mujahideen mercy and ethics?

how many headless bodies with bound hands and feet have been dumped in the back alleys of baghdad by these merciful and kind individuals?

Re: Why why why? Why the Hijab?

LJ, if the poor lady was kidnapped for all that time its very likely she needs a good hairdresser before she goes out in public

failling that hiding it under a scarf is the next best thing

Re: Why why why? Why the Hijab?

covering up is insane in the west, u have to like to run around naked if u r a normal person....

Re: Why why why? Why the Hijab?

If the Mujahideen had killed her, I would have loved to see you blow your load like you always do…But her being freed and praising the Mujahideen doen’t give you much of an opportunity to blow your load, does it?

And the amount of headless bodies with bound hands and feet you see is inversely proportional to the amount of propaganda your mind should be fed to disguise the murder of tens of thousands of helpless and innocent men, women and children killed by the USA…

LD: It was not just the Hijab but she was wearing an entire ‘thob’…A long women’s garment…

The issue I am discussing is not her Hijab…It is the press being given to find out the reason for her dressing…They are bringing in experts, psychologists, hostage negotiators e.t.c. just to figure out why she is wearing a Hijab…

In the land of the free, should one be subjected to a complete mental assessment and evaluation just wear a Hijab? And is wearing a Hijab, such a depiction of fraternizing with the ‘enemy’ that it becomes a national sensation?

Think about it…What she is saying is being brushed under the carpet for what she is wearing…

That’s what I am talking about in case you still haven’t got it…

Re: Why why why? Why the Hijab?

LJ, being kidnapped is not something one shrugs off very easily... she needs all the help she can get...

Your american media may very vocal about her ensemble but youve got to understand that there market is the amercan veiwing public...

They have to simplify

its so much easier to say

Look pretty lady from the land of the free... kidnapped

lookee here pretty lady from land of the free changed appearance

Something bad happen

Good for the ratings

Anyway LJ, dont worry your pretty little head

the full story will come out on Oprah

Re: Why why why? Why the Hijab?

More wonderful comments directed at the girl for which America cried…

But since she has expressed her opinions, she has been condemned as a terrorist and one of the guys in the link actually wants her to be sent to Gitmo, one is wishing that the Mujahideen had killed her and one is suggesting she be charged for treason…

Propaganda fed brains anyone?

Re: Why why why? Why the Hijab?

LJ, why do you post the views of these people...

they dont mean a thing

except for Zombie's... I didnt know he posted on that site
