The shifting of capital was never given a reason to create a new city, It was shifting of capital for their own desires.

No am not a vehement fan or supporter of the mentioned party or its leader .. If any one on this forum has suffered most from their hands , its me and me family .
But on the same hand I do acknowledge and support the good work , they have done for my city

And yes I have a problem with people , who don’t acknowledge the right status of Karachi city , who don’t know and understand ar problems while sitting in a different region .
I have an issue with people who bring the naught to ar rights . We karachiites ( when I say Karachiites , I mean any body from any religion / color and ethnicity , born or lived in Karachi for atleast 10 years ) should get a fair share of ar unalienable rights .

First of all, no one is denying its 'right'. If you are talking about the moving of its status as capital, there were reasons given and it was a perfectly legit move. Stop playing the victim card now, its been what, 40 years since the capital was moved, move on please.

And the Pakhtuns etc who moved there 2-3 years ago should be dubbed as monsters? This is where MQM's agenda comes out in the open. Any Pakistani can move to Karachi as they wish, they dont need visas to go there, or work there. Karachi or any other city is no ones jagir.

It was never a good step by Ayuob Khan or his so-called commission to shift capital to Islamabad.It is past but we should must remember these wrong steps .You can also many other of same regime like Sindh Taas Agreement ,Handing over Pakistani Oil produsing land to Iran and specially waisting the only chance of regaining Kashmir in 1962 during Indo-China war.

as far as the cities list above the one that sticks out is new dehli. how far is new dehli from old dehli though?
old delhi is 15-20kms away from new delhi, but they moved it from kolkata to Delhi

so upto 1960 was history
after 1970 it's not history

If DG Khan or Dera Ghazi Khan had been selected as Pakistan's capital, Pakistan would have been much different today with far more harmony among its people.
