Dear Why you not want/wish to see the pictures. which clearly tell you some thing which you do not want to accept!!

So you are trying to compare a JINN with a Human (RZA), the very Human (RZA) who was brought up by the Best of the Best of Teachers (SAAW)... good

Just for you info, Jinn still do these kind of tasks...

Do i need to say more!!!

Tafsir Ibn Kathir

قَالَ الَّذِى عِندَهُ عِلْمٌ مِّنَ الْكِتَـبِ]

(One with whom was knowledge of the Scripture said: ) Ibn `Abbas said, "This was Asif, the scribe of Sulayman.‘’ It was also narrated by Muhammad bin Ishaq from Yazid bin Ruman that he was Asif bin Barkhiya’ and he was a truthful believer who knew the Greatest Name of Allah. Qatadah said: "He was a believer among the humans, and his name was Asif.‘’

أَنَاْ ءَاتِيكَ بِهِ قَبْلَ أَن يَرْتَدَّ إِلَيْكَ طَرْفُكَ]

(I will bring it to you within the twinkling of an eye!) Meaning, lift your gaze and look as far as you can, and before you get tired and blink, you will find it before you. Then he got up, performed ablution and prayed to Allah, may He be exalted. Mujahid said: "He said, O Owner of majesty and honor.‘’ When Sulayman and his chiefs saw it before them,

قَالَ هَـذَا مِن فَضْلِ رَبِّى]

(he said: "This is by the grace of my Lord…‘’) meaning, `this is one of the blessings which Allah has bestowed upon me.’

Salamun Alaikum,

Fatima binte Asad was the mother of Imam Ali (as) and mother in law of Fatima Zahra (as). When Muhammad grew up and proclaimed his prophethood she stood by him. She was exceptionally fond of her son Ja'far, but she bore the separation from him and his wife, Asma bint Umais, when they migrated to Abyssinia on Muhammad's orders with the first group of migrant Muslims.

Fatima, being one of the first to swear allegiance to Islam and its concept of the Oneness of Allah, faced the economic and social boycott of the Nonbelievers of the Mecca for three years (shob i Abi Talib). She was also a member of the privileged group who migrated to Medina.

Shaiba ibn Hashim proposed to her for his son, Abu Talib. When Muhammad began to preach she converted to Islam. When Muhammad's grandfather, Shaiba ibn Hashim, died, the guardianship of Muhammad passed on to Abu Talib ibn Shaiba ibn Hashim. His wife, Fatima, looked after him, loving him as if he were her own. He remembered in his later life that she would go hungry to feed him. He respected her so highly that whenever she visited him he would stand up and receive her with great love, addressing her as mother.

Fatima looked after Muhammad during his youth.

Anas bin Malik says that when Muhammad heard Asad had died, he immediately went to her house sat beside her body and prayed for her soul.

"My dear mother, may God keep you under His Protection. Many times you went hungry in order to feed me well. You fed me and clothed me on delicacies that you denied yourself. God will surely be happy with these actions of yours. And your intentions were surely meant to win the goodwill and pleasure of God and success in the Hereafter."

He gave his shirt to be used as part of her shroud. When the grave was prepared Muhammad himself examined it and placed her into the grave. Thus, she was one of the few people whose graves were examined by Muhammad. Fatimah is buried in Jannatul Baqee' cemetery in Madinah, Saudi Arabia.

An exceptional lady!

wasalam
ramesha :)

See what you have done.. you said she was an exceptional lady!!! and also you seems to believe that she converted to Islam ... now this has complicated the issue...

How can a Muslim woman can be in ZOJIYAT Of a non-muslim man... i.e. Abu-Talib never accepted Islam... not until his death...

One of the Shia version of the CRACK Story

[

Parhta ja sharmata ja…

as per this story, Fatima bint-e-Asad already knew that the her Nephew (SAAW) is going to be the last Prophet ( even before the Prophet (SAAW) )[On the 13th of the month of Rajab, twenty-three years before
the migration of the Prophet Mohammad (pbuh)a child was born in
the family of Abu Talib, the light of whom kindled the whole World.
Kunaab Mecci narrates about his birth: "We and Abbas (Ibne Abdul Mutalib)
were sitting together when suddenly we saw Fatima bint-e-Asad
moving towards the Kaabah in the condition having delivery pain
and saying "Oh God I have faith in you and the Prophet (i.e., Abraham)
who by your command laid the foundation of this house. O God!

I swear you by the same Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) and swear you by
the child in my womb make this birth comfortable and easy for me.

This was the time when all of us saw with our own eyes that the wall
of Kaabah broke apart and Fatima bint-e-Asad entered into the Kaabah.
Then the wall again united.

We ran terrified and trembling to our houses to send our women into
the Kaabah for the help and assistance of Fatima bint-e-Asad.
We did our best but the door did not open. This event surprised
all the people of Makkah.

The women of Makkah were anxiously counting moments to meet
Fatima bint-e-Asad till the time she came out of the Kaabah along with
a beautiful baby, saying, "God has chosen me from among the ladies
of Makkah and He made me His guest in His house and gave me meals
and fruits of the heaven to eat.

The ladies who were surrounding her in the form of a circle and
escorting her to her home asked her, “What name have you given
to this child?”

Fatima bint-e-Asad said: “When I was in the Kaabah, I heard
a hidden voice call,” Name this child “ALI”](Yahoo | Mail, Weather, Search, Politics, News, Finance, Sports & Videos)](“Yahoo | Mail, Weather, Search, Politics, News, Finance, Sports & Videos”)

Re: Why There is Crack in KAABA WALL??

Abu Talib was a greater Muslim than any Muslim who ever sprouted from Madrassa e Deoband.

I have nothing more to say. :snooty:

their r several crack stories to be found in every history book..whether it be sunni or shia. christian crack stories include jesus resurrecting etc, sunni crack stories include the cleaning of prophet's heart, shia crack stories include exaggeration on part of their imams. but there is essentially something great about all these personalities and some people transgress.

this entire discussion is now a big mix up of a lot of issues. cant really make up where this is heading to.

Re: Why There is Crack in KAABA WALL??

I have seen the rukn e yamani, and it does seem so different compared to the oher rukns of the kaaba, with a huge blob of cement/nails and what not. It doesnt fit in...

ps. hazrat abu talib was a muslim. He read he nikah of the Prophet (saw) to bibi Khadijah.

ps1. Accounts of Bibi Fatima binte Asad giving a miracle birth in the Holy Kaba was witnessed and accounted for in both shia and ahl sunnah traditions. You simply may not be aware of it.

If that is your view of Hazrat Abu Talib, may Allah (swt) reward him for his great services to Islam, then there is very little point in this discussion.

One of the Shia version of the CRACK Story

[

There seems to be very subtle but very definite resemblence of Fatima bint-e-Asad to Maryum mother of Nabi E’esa (peace be upon him).](“Yahoo | Mail, Weather, Search, Politics, News, Finance, Sports & Videos”)

It has been inherent and intrinsic quality of Shia to elevating Status of Hz. Ali (ra) to near par to that of Rasool Allah (peace be upon him) and it really rattles them if ‘others’ don’t match their reverence for this Noble Person (Hz. Ali (ra)).

I really like to hear from educated Shia brothers and sisters here on Gupshup keeping mind that as they claim that on EVERY the 13th of the month of Rajab:

The crack opens every year (The night the Imam was born)
There is a scent that comes out of the crack that does not exist in any other part of the Ka'aba.

Why these marvellous miraculous ‘happenings’ do not occur on the 12th day of Rabi-al-Awwal at the blessed site where Rasool Allah (peace be upon him) was born?

Why does Allah (swt) show preference to Hz. Ali (ra) over and above to Rasool Allah (peace be upon him)?

Just address the issue raised and do not side track from this.

Logically shouldn't the blessed site where Rasool Allah (saw) was born show more miracles than what is claimed for Hz. Ali (ra)?

Please don't doubt my love for Hz. Ali (ra) - I follow his command:

*“With regard to me, two categories of people will be ruined, namely he who loves me too much and the love takes him away from rightfulness, and he who hates me too much and the hatred takes him away from rightfulness. The best man with regard to me is he who is on the middle course. So be with him and be with the great majority of Muslims because Allah’s hand of protection is on keeping unity.

You should beware of division because the one isolated from the group is a prey to Satan just as the one isolated from the flock of sheep is a prey to the wolf. Beware! Whoever calls to this course [of sectarianism], kill him, even though he may be under this headband of mine.” * Hz. Ali (ra) quoted from Nahjul Balagha, Sermon 126

So which group is following the middle course? Which one is exaggerating the love and which one hates hz ALi?

^ There is one group that denies Imam Ali's given status by the Prophet (SAW) and Allah(swt), despite claiming otherwise. Another group who do ghuloo by raising Imam Ali (as) to God's level and qualities.

The third group accept Imam Ali (as) highest status ater the Prophet (saw) as given by the prophet (saw) and Allah (swt), and without supporting his opposers/deniers.

Its up to you to decide which group belongs to which, but in a nutshell, thats pretty much it.

Salaam Bro ibn Sadique, How you doing?

I dont know much about the crack opening or the scent. it is the first time I have heard of it, so I would want to hear from some one who has actually seen it fro themselves. Although I wouldnt be surprised if it was true, (these miracles are not rare) but in NO way does it elevate the status of Imam Ali (as above the Prophet (saw) but it is a confirmation of his highest level after the Prophet (saw), above anyone else.. If anyone thinks that it does, then that is a problem in they're thinking rather then anything ele.

Re: Why There is Crack in KAABA WALL??

There are a lot of miracles described in Islamic books both shia and sunni and about various people. There are many, i find hard to beleive, not because Allah is not capable of producing such miracles but because the events around these miracles make it hard to beleive in them.

Such as birth of Prophet saw, teher are some traditions that Prophet saw said, he is Prophet at time of his birth and three women desceded from heaven and gave bath to Him. And that a light appeared, sop bright that it reached thousands of miles away.

Such miracles would have attracted so much attention that Halima Sadia would not have been the only woman comign to Prophet saw house and that too after not fidning another child in more wealthier houses.

May be Allah intended his great creations to be perfect humans and not mighty supernaturals.

yeh but what about the majority of the muslims? and did shia who believe in hz Ali as IMAM exist buring his time period?

A.s
well if you sunni dont believe that there is a crack in KAABA i have video proof of it in my mobile, its called RUKN-e-yamani.and its now toally exposed by saudi government.dont believe me go and see for urself.its there.or yahan fazul bolnay k bajaye apni purani HISTORy ki kitabain khol k daikho us mai saf likha hai k ALI a.s KHANA KAABA mai paida hoa.

Re: Why There is Crack in KAABA WALL??

Peace All

The Ka'bah may have many 'cracks' in it. My wall outside has a crack in it. I filled it in the other day, because I didn't want the crack to get worse and bring the whole wall down. Why can't this be the reason that the Saudis are filling in the crack? Why does it have to be because they are trying to "hide the miracle"?

Look miracles are of two types:

Prophetic (Mu'ajazzat)
Pious (Karamaat)

Mu'ajazzat usually occur to give authenticity to the messenger and help the followers of that prophet. If we understand this crack is to do with Hz Ali (AS) then it cannot be mu'ajazzat.

Karamaat now these occur to pious in times of great need usually to save the 'pious' from death. Other than this karamaat are also included on the acts of great insight that the pious have experienced, such as on battlefields. In the case of this story there was no such reason for this miracle to occur. Why a hole needed to be blown in to the ka'bah simply so for a sahabi to be born or his mother (RA) to be kept in private is not typical of other karamaat.

This event would have occured before the prophethood of Muhammad (SAW) became known to all also. Unless the claim by out Shi'ah brothers is that Imam Ali(AS) is like a prophet how can this be entertained?

So do the shi'ah bretheren here believe Imam Ali(AS) is like a prophet?
