^ right i understand your point. but i didnt mean to say that we are bad in romanization, after all its just a workaround for those who dont know how to read the actual urdu script or do no have means (or time) to type the urdu script. but what i was trying to say is that, even if 2 things look same in roman urdu, it doesnt mean in actual urdu script they are written same way… you have given an example of this already.

**thank you bro and i do get ur view point and its absolutely correct. i just happen to see two more example among thousands others.

there are two set of two words each that sound similar and spelled similarly with a very slight difference. in roman urdu, however, most wud write both words as follows:

1. nazar = omen
2. nadida = unknown AND greedy

but i would use the transliteration scheme and write those words differently.

1 (a). nazar = omen [PERSIAN: noon, ze, re]
1 (b). naZar = sight [ARABIC: noon, zuaad, re]

and, similarly:

2(a). na_deedah = laalchi/greedy [FAARSI: noon, daal, ye, daal, chhoTii he]
2(b). naa_deedah = unseen [FAARSI: noon, alif (SPACE) daal, ye, daal, chhoTii he]
