Why so many American military defeats/humiliations since 1945?

Re: Why so many American military defeats/humiliations since 1945?

LOL:)

Man your comments are hilarious....

Soviets did 90% of the fighting because that was the situation they were in.
If the soviets had a nuke, they would have nuked germany to force it to surrender..

As for America nuking Japan...

With the insane logic you are giving me....Please don't go for a career in the military....:D

Re: Why so many American military defeats/humiliations since 1945?

LOL…

Thats all you got…

You get out-debated in facts and resort to this…

Typical behaviour of a desperate person:D

Re: Why so many American military defeats/humiliations since 1945?

American's were in the "situation" to do 90% of the fighting in the Asian-pacific region (like the Soviets in Europe), yet chickened out and used the nukes. After 1945, the USSR, China, France, UK and others have acquired nukes but never deployed them in wars they have been involved in, or even threatened them. Only the American chickens of WW2 stick out in this area.

Re: Why so many American military defeats/humiliations since 1945?

Americans had a bomb which could end world war II and save 10 million 700,000 lives.

Like I said don't go in a career in the military.:)

Well since neither of these countries were involved in battles which resembled the scale and barbarity of World War II, they had no need to use Nuclear Weapons.

As for calling american chickens, please see above.

Your logic has been torn to shreds.

Please keep it up.

I havent laughed this much since in a while.

Re: Why so many American military defeats/humiliations since 1945?

Oh and by the way...

You didn't answer my question...

you said that Americans are bogged down in Asia...

where exactly where they bogged down in Asia...

I await your reply:)

Re: Why so many American military defeats/humiliations since 1945?

Yes, the lives of US soldiers most probably. After all the Soviets lost more than 10 million on the Eastern Front, and they liberated the world from Nazism, but the American’s were not prepared to be so brave. While the Soviets were fighting man to man all the way to the gates of Berlin, the American’s were too scared to land in Japan, so they nuked it from the air. We are all still waiting for you to provide links to all your rather wonderful stats - anything other than Wikpedia will do.

Re: Why so many American military defeats/humiliations since 1945?

The Soviets lost more than 10 million on the Eastern Front because they had no choice but to fight and resist an enemy who was bent on the destruction of their race. Are you completely blind by this concept or does it take more than a 1000 tries before you understand that 2+2=4 and not 22?

USA made the bomb in July 1945 and used it to the end the war.

If the USSR made the bomb in 1945, they would have nuked Germany and brought the war to an end.

And what stats do you want citiations for??

Lastly,

Again you have not answered by question...

Where the Americans bogged down in Asia??

Re: Why so many American military defeats/humiliations since 1945?

:rotfl: Not many American’s even put foward this silly argument, when everyone knows America was defeated in it’s objective of keeping Vietnam from falling to communism. To this day the defeat and in Vietnam hanuts the American psyche, and no amount of rationalization has reduced the sense of humiliation. Defeat is defeat.

Re: Why so many American military defeats/humiliations since 1945?

Well those Americans don't know anything about the Vietnam War nor have studied it in depth as I have. Vietnam haunts the american psyche because it was a policy failure not a military failure as such that once the South Vietnamese army was trained it failed to hold back the North Vietnamese Army and fell in 1975.

Do you even know where Vietnam is on a map?:)

Also answer my question...

where was the USA bogged down in Asia during World War II

dont run away from it...

Re: Why so many American military defeats/humiliations since 1945?

:rotfl: You a Canadian-based community college type student knows more about the Vietnam war than millions of American citizens. My you do think highly of yourself don’t you? We are all still waiting for you to back up your so-called facts by independent sources, rather than rubbish from Wikpedia.

Re: Why so many American military defeats/humiliations since 1945?

I expected as much…

When you get defeated in every single arugment, this is what you fall back too…

LOL…

But I got to admit, you lasted for 10 posts before you dwelled in the typical response of insults instead of presenting me with facts to debate me…

And lastly, what facts do you need backed up?

By the way, you have been caught red-handed when you said US forces were bogged down in Asia during WWII…LOL..

Man, this is the most fun I have had in ages…

Kiddo…admit it, you have lost. Just give it up…Your arguments are made of fantasy and have no basis in reality…

Re: Why so many American military defeats/humiliations since 1945?

Dont think you have noticed that it has been replaced with a warning by Captain1.

Re: Why so many American military defeats/humiliations since 1945?

Yup, I see Captain. :k:

Re: Why so many American military defeats/humiliations since 1945?

I don’t think you have read it properly - this is the pertinent point.

if you want to prove other wrong then provide articles/news from outside instead of putting numbers and theories without backing’em up

Re: Why so many American military defeats/humiliations since 1945?

i am still waiting for your facts about US forces being bogged down in Asia during WWII...
