^^ Well i am resigning from this debate but I do agree. I was an international student in the US in early 2000s, I worked research assistantship, gas stations, laundromats, Tutored students every evening to barely get by for graduate school and built a life. Here I see dozens of international students in very expensive private liberal arts colleges in Indiana / Iowa and Illinois that are sons/daughters of active / retired service officers. Officers with ranks for Lt. Colones and Majors. The way this one institute has consumed Pakistan, I wonder do I even have any standing in Pakistan. This institute has lost every war, most humiliating surrenders, Abbottabad incident, a person hid in hospital instead of facing courts and yet a politician that faced courts, showed every thing about their personal business, asked where is corruption is punished. Not being dramatic but today I am more inclined to renounce my Pakistani citizenship for good. I truly felt proud in political process moving forward, govt changing hands, people punishing politicians through the power of VOTE, a maturity coming but this backdoor attacks push the system backwards. Its now responsibility of PMLN to keep the process moving forward perhaps someday this powerful military will come under full civilian control.

To add to your list the horrific rape and slaughter of the Bengali population with not one person charged for war crimes, killings in Balochistan, Sind and NWFP. I am not invested in the politics of that place but this has foreign finger prints all over it. I think the bosses want someone who will use a lot more force against the Haqqani group. The mullahs celebrating with mithai will be soon running for cover. These army officers roam around like royalties on a 300 dollar pay per month, I guess their monies fall from the sky.
