No not really, even ‘sweet talking’ (another name for flirting?) I’m assuming where two grown up married individuals act like teenage love birds in front of family is not even appreciated in some conservative Western families, thats total cheez and chechorpan. And yes desis are also conservative.

**However even in desi families I’ve seen husband and wife sharing a light hearted banter, making and passing general witty comments and anecdotes on dining table and just having a laugh and making everybody laugh. For that you need have a chemistry, a genuinely witty partner and more importantly a complimenting family environment. I mean who would dare making a lighter hearted jokey comment to a wife who would bust out complaining non stop in the bedroom saying that ‘how dare you made a joke on me in front of your family, everybody was laughing I felt so insulted bla bla…you don’t care about my feelings bla bla’, and just be miserable for next two weeks?

**well it may be is because women have a poorer sense of humour and less composure as compared to men.
